So my number's come up in the weekend rotation to work tomorrow, anyone know of something interesting going on in our coverage area?

Table reads for the Pasadena Follies at 10 a.m. Which I'll be attending. Proctor = news.
Opening Day for AYSO Region 2

Or even better - the 40th Anniversary of Taco Lita! They will have yellow and red shirts that look like Taco Lita Sauce packets! K-EARTH 101 will be there and some Mayor - probably of Arcadia.
Kathy Aguilar Perez, wife of City Manager in waiting Rick Cole, Vice President of Forest City Development, and former special assistant to Bill Bogaard, will be teaching a UCLA extension class for Planning Commissioners. Will any of our Pasadena Planning Commissioners be attending? Will Rick be a guest lecturer?
Todd: Why not check our events listings at "Pasadena Now"? We've got 29 great things listed for Saturday, and 13 for tomorrow! Cheers, Jamie
Steve Haderlein is taking a shower around 9 p.m.
Cute plug, and although it was a slow news day bound to generate some soft coverage, I'll leave "Cooking Class: “The Science of Sourdough” and "Crafts for Kids: Personalized Desk Caddy" to you! :)
Alex was on the money. I got the e-mail from Scott Hettrick's "Arcadia's Best" re: Taco Lita and had to go find out if it looked anything like I remembered it from the early 1980s.
Seeing the Taco Lita article in the paper...made me feel a bit like Albert Brooks as he is feeding lines to William Hurt in "Broadcast News". We got t-shirts for everyone - even a a few to send to friends living in Connecticut that grew up with Taco Lita. We're trading t-shirts and sauce for Dunkin Donuts Coffee.
I loved Broadcast News. Instilled a youthful loathing for broadcast news.
Dunkin Donuts Coffee! Only the 2nd best coffee in the world (to Wawa coffee!) Alex is awesome.
