Raining on their parade

This morning's protest in front of the House of Tournament drew a lot of people from different groups out. The best bit was -- and I'm kicking myself for not bringing a camera -- was some organ-harvesting guerrilla theater.

Two women stood behind a surgical table with a bloody cadaver under a blood-stained sheet and pantomimed harvesting organs from the body and placing them into little six-pack ice coolers.

Awesome.

totally awesome what is wrong with you? doesnt your cell phone have a cam at least? these sleazy chi-com rats need to be confronted. let's hope that these people form 10 groups of four people each....one to block a float like the Tianamen Square guy blocked that tank while the other two come in from the rear and flanks to chain themselves to it. i hope they flash mob the chicom float right when it reaches the TV cams and refuse to let it move. then spray paint it with red cans of paint....no chinses symbols though just write "EVIL" all over it

how great would it be to see Pasadena police attacking chinese people who block the float. what a commentary that would be on our own hypocrisy...the Rose Parade has jumped the shark with this float and its only a matter of time before the parade will pay the price with lost goodwill. they Tournament of Roses is pissing away 100 years of goodwill.

By doing nothing now and trying to pretend this isn't their problem but a parade put on by an organization that happens to be in their town - the City (through the TofR) are going to look like fools on New Year's Day. People won't know the difference between the City and TofR - as far as most people are concerned - they are one in the same. I hope PPD is ready - the Chinese protestors and Amnesty folks are going to have an international stage...you better believe they are going to make their presence known.

I am going to start a movement to get the word out where as the chicom float gets in front of you on the parade route you are supposed to turn your back on it. It shall be known as the Wave of Shame.
