Pasadena PIO Ann Erman is blogging up a storm in Finland while visiting Pasadena sister city Järvenpää (no idea how to pronounce that) with Mayor Bill Bogaard and others. They were nice enough to remember to bring along a copy of the Star News with them (pic left)

There is plenty more on Ann's site reporting on what Pasadena on how the city is NOT spending your tax dollars (Ann is quick to mention that although they are doing some official business on the trip, they are paying for it out of their own pockets. So anything that is done on the trip is really none of your business- no complaining if anyone on the trip gets arrested for being drunk and disorderly Pasadenans!

There are also a good number of shots of Järvenpää on Ann's site. My favorite is what she had for lunch:

That looks like something I would happily devour after walking through a snowstorm, but in today's heat I think I would pass.

Hankkia hyvä astua harhaan, Ann, and I look forward to working with you when you get back.
