Give the government earthquake feedback.... they really use it
The above map, which shows the intensities of last week's earthquake, was constructed from feedback from about 40,000 people who took a survey about how they experienced the earthquake. Apparently, this is a major component of scientists' ability to chart the path of an earthquake and learn about it.
