IndyMac filing for bankruptcy, slashing more jobs

Business reporter Kevin Smith is busily at work today on a story about IndyMac filing for bankruptcy, not an entirely unexpected move. The FDIC is telling him it will not have any effect on depositors.

Also, the L.A Times is reporting that the company has cut another 110 jobs.
