Wow, Strings is gone

You knew it was coming.
Derrick Strings, along with his twin sister Desiree, will not return for the senior years at Marshall High School.
Derrick Strings, who was second in the state in scoring and averaged 33 points a game, is expected to play at Leuzinger High School this season along with his sister.
The Strings' family has apparently moved into the Lawndale area, which would make their children eligible to play if the transfer paperwork is accepted by Leuzinger school officials. Read more

Derrick Strings apparently played summer basketball with the Leuzinger High School team, which is coached by Reggie Morris, the son of L.A. Southwest Coach Reggie Morris Sr. And ironically, L.A. Southwest hired former Marshall coach Quintin Grogan as an assistant, so you connect the dots....I hope this is eventually investigated. I don't think for a minute that it was a coincidence that Strings, Grogan and the Morris' just lucked into a good situation.
What do you think?

Agreed AOL is definitely within the mistaken column.

I really like the style of the website. I had a peek at your source code, hope you don’t mind, to check what theme you are using. Is it it a no cost theme or do I have to purchase it?

This is a great blog!

Two words (should sound familiar-same ones passed out when Artesia was under fire)----

Undue Influence (???...)

Ajere going to pasadena is great for arcadia. Arcadia didn't need him anyway. I don't see him doing well under Tucker. Tucker will probably kick him off the team.

it is football season. let's talk about that. how about all the kids that left P.H.S and transferd to other schools. i wonder why ? and you said, something about that new kid at arcadia. what about the kid that transferd back to muir.he is a monster. has runs a 4.4 in the 40 and is a big hitter. he is playing defense and tailback behind youngblood. look out for phillip morrow #24 ,and 8 kids on muir's team went to the valley conference championships 5 years in a row and won 4 out of five. and phillip morrow and lance mitchell were on those teams. so this is their year , i take muir to win CIF.
