Muir is a very good football team and they usually have one or two playmakers that can score on you at will but saying that now the schools i just mentioned earlier are respectively good this year. Some say monrovia would give muir a lost if they would of played. I dont agree but i will say it would be a close game and not a blowout. and as far as temple city goes i dont know if u would get them either with a healthy broadnax. I'll say it now t.c. has the best o-line in the area and i dont know if those boys from muir could hang. Im sure u would get la canada though or any other teams in the area with the exception of maybe st. francis. but these teams are not sorry this year and u should show respect where its due jus like we do for muir. everyone has their school that they represent and u jus gotta live with that bigboy

In sports, you can not make comparisons from one game to the next. I stand by my previous prediction, no one from the RHL will win the CIF title…at least the Catnips or TC. A 7-1 TC will be our greatest challenge to date, but we are also playing our best ball to date. Give your Titans some credit. Might I remind you all that it was 21-12 after 3 quarters in the Monrovia La Salle game. A few dropped passes and int's and interceptions that were all LS's faults late in the game and we would be talking different. Monrovia has a soft secondary though they are fast, they could be more disciplined in their coverages. Yes Monrovia ended up blowing out La Salle but come on, LS is a new team now after 3 wins in a row over ranked teams. Also if you look at LS strength of schedule compared to that of other Mid-Valley teams you would see that LS has BY far the hardest schedule week in and week out. Monrovia should be #1 until they lose (not saying they will) but come playoffs anything can happen.

Trojanator...wow. I don't think you've actually seen Broadnax play. He has tremendous vision and is an exceptional back. He may not be the biggest, or the strongest but you can't deny the results. La Salle did well against TC and had an excellent game planned. There scheme was pretty flawless. However you can't deny that the whole complection of that game would have been different had Broadnax played. La Salle "block of cement" line didn't do much against runners like James Davis and Shawn Sparks, so your theory holds no water nor does their 3-5 record. Being a homer is one thing, but this is ridiculous. BTW I guess Barry Sanders wasn't much of a runner jumping over defenders and juking them out of their jocks.

I think you hae your coaching all wrong when it comes to your strategy against Monrovia. Remember the score was 21-0 after just playing 5:31 seconds of the first quarter and it was the Monrovia offense that ate your defense alive. Your running game is much too slow to keep up with a good quick defense. TC's biggest mistake was to play your game and try and wear each other down. The Monrovia score could have reach way into the 70's or maybe even the 80's if Garrison wanted to be a grinch. The best part of your game was your pass offense, I will give the team credit for that but for every great play on offense your team made a costly mistake against a better defense. You would be wise to choose someone else to want revenge on unless your team is suicidel. I dont think you guys would get past Duarte....

The rematch of La Salle Monrovia will be great to see. The loss was not so much Mononrovia beating La Salle as much as La Salle beating it self! I will grant you that a good team makes it's opponents pay for it's maistakes and Monrovia made LS pay. The Lancers have been playing mistake free and that has been the big diffrenece in their recent sucess. They will continue their winning ways, now that they have found the formula to success.Would I rank them in the top 5, no. They do not deserve it. They are 5 and 3 and I agree with Fred on this. They will however match up against Monrovia, should they play them again. You bet your DOUBLE DOUBLE! The M D will not be able to hold the pounding! It will be Student Body Right and they will run right over your much heralded D Line!

With all that said i noticed at the TC/La Canada game that broadnax enjoyed hopping around the field, mostly over the D line. Had broadnax played against la salle' alex jimenez, a beast of an end, tommy quigley, a cannonball who's hardly moved, or casey hilland, a 6'3 290 block of cement that tosses lineman around as if he were playing against a pee-wee football team, he would be resting 6 feet below. RB's are taught to stay low, why is he hopping around?? Is that how he injured his ankle, prancing around like a bunny?? Frankly im tired of hearing about broadnax and TC, they are a one man team revolving around broadnax and would fail miserably had he been injured this entire year. La Salle and Santa Clara are similiar schools...both have brick buildings, both are on busy streets and both would lose to Monrovia. Santa Clara by 3 over La Salle in Oxnard.

Remember early in the game, I predicted that Duarte would show up and they have. I really think they could take a convincing 2nd or third place in the Rio Hondo league. They have matured as a team and deserve the respect of the other teams in the Mid-Valley division. They have been playing like they are definetly the contenders in the league. Duarte needs to be ranked in the top 8. They are 6-2 with a 6 game winning streak. Two losses were to Monrovia in their opener and then to Glendora in week 2. Glendora is 5-3 with wins over Covina, Charter Oak, and Chino, among others.

EEEEEEEasy Tech Boi, I love La Salle as much as the next Lancer, but I wouldn't rank them above 7th. It's like the old coaches poll everyone used to grouse about in college, maybe High Schools should go to BCS?

Can someone elxplain to me why Cantwell is still ranked after they are 1-2 in league and will not make playoffs because they will finish 4th in the Camino Real League. That is some bs.

Why is the Valle Vista League in the Northwest Conference and the Frontier League in the Mid Valley? Oaks Christian has no business being in the Tri-Valley League.
