My high school student just brought from the grocery store a flyer that obviously was written by two crazy individuals. This flyer talks about the coach Mills, another coach, parent and a player. Is this junk necessary! This coach should get lawyer and a private detective to get bottom of this. This is truly a form of defamation character and harassment of Coach Mills. I am a concerned MUIR parent that our children are seeing theses adults act completely insane.

Wow! You both will turn on anyone who will not get in and agree with you all about coach Mills, (4 THE KIDS & ECKOKID) and others. You both sound like the same people just using different nicknames. I am not Kevin Mills, I would like just some bring to light details that some wish to keep one sided. From what I know about coach Mills writing letters has never been his thing anyway. I have had a chance to meet him though cocky he is, but so what. This is not about the kids this is about adults playing games you know who you are, because you can’t rule another human. If the coach’s brother did punch the kid then he should be punished. It just seems to me that you all want to associate this incident with coach Mills. I thought this was supposedly a parent who punched the kid. Now everyone wants to implement coach Mills. For years at the Rose Bowl high school game there are many alumni’s that are on the sidelines. This incident happened after the game was over. If Wayne was filming then this should be a closed case, give the film to the police!!!
I appreciate the prayers because; you all are in my prayers too for defamation of character with no proof.

Did you forget about your school having to forfeit a volleyball game earlier this year because the girls were cursing at each other and threatening to fight each other at home DURING THE GAME? Don't dump everything on Mills' lap. Blair isn't exactly fantasyland now that the wicked witch has been vainquished.

Like I said before, "Let the truth ring loud and long"... If... IF... If the allegations are true, your exposure of the fact will bring the public into the workings of a public school's athletic dept... this is necessary, sadly, for the accountability of the Decision-Makers... which is what I intended to say (poorly) with the last post.

I'm not asking you to rush to judgement... and I understand your position as a journalist... I am only asking that you give it serious treatment (kids before coaches).

And although I wasn't there... I defend my previous choice of words:
IF these actions are true... these coaches are VILE... and they need to be removed from the position of educating our young athletes.

i believe everything that has been said about coach mills on here , i did not want to comment at first but, we are glad to see mills gone from blair ! he was very cocky and evil. the whole coaching staff was suspended for the last 3 game's the last year he was the coach at blair because they were saying some foul things to the ref's & temple city. it has been peacefull on campus since mills has left , now here he go's again at P.H.S ! why would he get hired again at another school when he already did many childish things when he was here at blair high school ! rebledo you are full of shhhh !
one last thing coach tip is doing a great job here and blair will be back in front of the stage soon.

Eckokid, if he could identify the person who threw the punch with certainty, he would. The problem is he's not from our area, and is not familiar with the teams. That's why it is important that someone who CAN identify exactly who did what comes forward.

Fred: If you want me to come forward to the Pasadena PD, I will, but you have to tell your film crew to also come forward and tell the truth about what they saw.

If a Pasadena assistant coach is arrested as a result from this, you will certainly here more from me. But until that time, I'm not rushing to judgment. Obviously, if it is an assistant coach that is arrested after Brooks, Calafat and Mills strongly denied that any of their coaches were involved, I would be extremely disappointed with all three of them.
But I'm not going to speculate whether they know more, and are not telling me everything. It's the same way I would treat every program that I cover.

Eckokid, your comments were deleted because you can't accuse people of serious crimes on this blog. If you know something, go to the police, share it with the Pasadena Unified School district, or walk into this office, identify yourself, and tell us exactly what you saw.

Brooks didn't say he wasn't at the game, he said he wasn't there (when the altercation took place).
Look everyone, all I can do is ask the questions. This is a serious matter. I can't speculate in a news story. I talked to the police and reported the prepared statement they had for us, then asked three members from PHS and another from Muir what they knew and could share with us.
If there is an arrest made, we'll report it, but until that time, we can't name names or speculate about who did what. There's not much more I can do.
But my question is if so many people have claimed to see exactly what happened and can identify the assailant with certainty, then why hasn't anyone come forward to corroborate Phillip Morrow's story to the police?

Fred: The whole article that you wrote is BS. Whom ever told you that Tony Brooks was not there is a damn lie. I have tape of him being there on the sidelines smileing while anoter little scuffle happened on the sidelines after the game. I think that you need to do some better invesigating because you obously half-assed this one.

prally: It sure is strange that all the footage that everyone has shows a different picture than what you discussed. Let's stop playing the blame game and put it where it really belongs, and that's the individual(s) that assulted a minor. People fail to realize that no matter who types in this blog, they will find out who it was, and I hope you dont end up with mud on your shoes.

Wow! I was at the game and I saw Phillip Marry # 24 and his brother Wayne “Fashion� walk over to a PHS player to taut him for losing the game. Muir’s entire sideline of players come running over to the PHS side to start trouble. Wow out of all the players someone would want to hit Phillip M. This must be a good thing for those that also have been pushing behind the scenes to get the PHS coach “FRIED�. Yes I can’t wait until the investigation comes Monday. Then the vindictive adults will let PHS continue to build their football program with out them butting their noses in and move on now that their child is senior. Talk about controlling the field events MUIR staff and coaches let the team run over to PHS’s side of the field.
Even the MUIR cheerleaders had to be pushed away by PHS principle Dr. Evans. I hope the film crew got that on tape. One person can try to destroy anothers reputation simply because thing didn’t go there way. Can’t wait until Monday!
On with real news the playoffs.

Steve and 4theplayers about saint francis, you have hit the nail on the head! It is time for a change but it has always been about money at SF for years. You can have the best sports facilities in the world but if you have a coaching staff that is happy with job security by being a teacher/coach they lose that winning edge. SF needs to take a good look at being second best and raise the bar. The coaches need to be held accountable. This is just my opinion and everybody has one but enough is enough and lets get this program moving!! Now I hear the JV team won league with a 4-6 record, lets see what happens next year because I am tired of being ranked #1 every year and finishing second or third!! Go knights-play hard for yourselves this could be the last time you play football.

Regarding Pasadena's choice of uniforms. I know some schools at the high school and college levels have experimented with emplementing black with the school colors. However, Pasadena was litteraly unrecognizable. School colors are exactly that and should not be changed for the sake of making a statement.

Coach Tee, as long as you remain somewhat tasteful, I won't have to delete your comments. You want to make a point with me, then do it in a professional manner.

I will look into the PHS-Muir after-game incident on Monday. It's unfortunate, but a punch was thrown at a Muir player, which was witnessed by our filming crew.
Let's not name names in future posts, allow me to look into it completely before we make judgments about who did what. It's better to get it right, than speculate, so be patient.
Isn't this sad. I should be focused on our local teams in the playoffs, but now I have to spend a majority of Monday looking into a stupid fight.

I wish I was at the Muir/ PHS game. I heard it was wonderful...until One incident that I find hard to swallow. If this is true about Mike Harrison hitting a PLAYER!?! That is a shame.

I was at the SP/Monrovia game and what I saw was a team that never gave up! They drove to the end zone right up until the last three seconds. There WAS a facemask penalty that was not called (the Monrovia player practically pulled the QB’s head off!!!) and the PI against Michael Flynn was a joke! Never the less, this great group of young men never gave up and keep playing their best and gave their fans a great game and a great season. True SP fans also appreciate the fact that the team did so well with most of the starters playing both offense AND defense. (The QB plays three positions!!!) We are proud of the level of play throughout the year and Michael Flynn and Josh Parish were consistently good and exciting to watch!

i think the whole football coaching staff at P.H.S & the athletic directer tony brooks should be fired. the volley ball coach should be fired also. in the last week there have been many childish incidents done by these clowns at pasadena high school.
the volley ball coach got of the bus at muir 3 time's to cuss players from the football team out ! saying f%@#k the sangs & other things i wont repeat. tony brooks P.H.S athletic directer is on tape after the turkey tussle watching & smileing with his hands in his pocket as a phs player cuss and try and fight some muir players and tony brooks did not try and break it up ! then phs head coach kevin mills brother mike "huck" harrison hit a muir player on the field after the game cause he was mad his son's team lost & there not going to the playoffs again. i think someone really needs to do something about that school before someone really get's hurt ! they are giving pasadena high school a bad name !

I could not agree more with Steve's assessment of the St. Francis Football Program. Yesterday, I was thinking the exact same thing about how we've dominated at the lower levels and then can't build on that dominance once these student-athletes join the varsity 1-2 years later.

The Notre Dame reference was spot on. It's no secret that SF put it on them at the lower levels 2 years ago. Now, this same group of ND players are on varsity, have a 10-0 record and steamrolled their three foes in league (Loyola, Crespi and Amat).

Obviously, SF's first priority to all students is education. Winning in the classroom is key to winning in the game of life. That being said, all the money that has been invested into upgrading the athletic facilities hasn't parlayed into a CIF Football Championsip. It is clear that we have the talent to make it happen

Congratulations on joining the ranks of many coaches who have led the Monrovia freshmen to a championship season. Now the real work begins. More important success metrix are: the matriculation rate from Freshman to JV to Varsity; how prepared the student-athletes are to play at the upper levels; continued character and physical development.

Don't forget to scout our upcoming opponents. That is also a very important contribution.

It is true, it was my friend, Phillip Morrow #24, that got punched through the face mask by Micheal Harrison. It is also said that Micheal Harrison, at one time had or still has an ankle bracelet and should not have been on the field at all if he did. There are several witnesses that saw this incident take place on the field and there is footage of it happing.
Fred can you please look into this and get back to me a lot of people have questions about this incident.

That is sad. But they are a classless group. I remember them at Blair. I was refereeing a game at a Passing League tournament. They let their players taunt the other team. They taunted the players from the other team. They tried to start a fight with the coaches from the other team and used racial epithets. It was bad news. They are bad for high school football. The guys gear on the sidelines says it all.

No one really cares about the freshman scores except the parents. Based upon your reporting, shut out is the past tense, not SHUTTED OUT. Therefore, based upon your teaching those stud freshman players will be ineligble for the next three years.

Great coverage of the RH Prep/Poly game in the SN. Every team wants a "game of the week" slot in the Star News especially when the coverage is so complete. The website audio/flash/photos are really well done, and the week long anticipation fueled with the "2-Minute Drill." Too bad Rio got blind-sided by a well-prepared and purposeful Poly team. I think the photographs would look a little different to me today had RH Prep played better. If there is a good time to have a game like this it's before the playoffs where it's 'one and done.'

Tomorrow should be interesting.

Yes, an 8 and 2 record is nothing to look down on along with co-champions of the Alpha league, but if you’re striving for excellence then us Sat Coach’s do make our observations known. Glad to hear you made it to Whittier College for the game. Maybe I was wrapped up in the game as I thought it was a fake punt play. I have no disrespect to Coach Murphy but just giving my opinion to the long pass calls.
And now onto the playoffs. Best luck to all of us small schools RHP, Poly and Maranatha.

Oh, and to the group of 6 or 7 Whittier Christian students who came up behind the Maranatha student section two or three times and taunted them, I’m glad this game was between two Christian schools. I know this was a group of exuberant students but if they would have tried to pull this off against most public schools the ambulances would have been called in to take the injured out. I commend all the Maranatha students who ignored them.

Congrats to all the schools out there who made it to playoffs. Congrats to Poly for such a huge victory and even to Rio Hondo for having an 18 game win streak, not too many can say that.
Just an observation for all those Maranatha fans: I find it funny that you're so harsh on your team and their coaches. No disrespect, but I don't remember you having too many 8-2 seasons and winning a league championship? I actually thought it would be nice to venture to the WC game last night, and so I did, and was quite impressed with both teams. Whittier is legit and they did a great job early on, but Maranatha made the adjustments they needed to and kept them scoreless in the second half. And as I recall, there was no fake punt by WC with a direct snap to Camarillo. I think your thinking of fourth and short with about a minute left in the first half and he (Camarillo) broke free on a miss-tackle. As far as play calling--no disrespect, but it's always easier being a "Saturday Coach" (the purpose of this blog). I mean, aren't all the "best" coaches in the stands anyways (sense my sarcasm)?
I just wanted to congratulate all the schools, especially the small schools like Poly, Rio, and Maranatha for having such a great year. Good luck this week.

Nice to see you posting. Don’t remember seeing you here before. Here’s my take on the loss against Whittier Christian. 1st off, and not to make excuses, but we had about 7 players out with injuries or other issues last night. That’s a killer to a small team. We had players who do not usually play both O and D playing both last night and some playing out of position. Look at the snaps from center. I lost count on how many bad snaps there were. Kills the play from the start. WC had a couple of trick plays that worked. The 4th down fake punt snap to Camarillo and the kickoff they recovered. Big plays. Not to question Coach Murphy but I’m not sure all those long 1st down pass plays were smart.
My congrats out to WC for the win but without Camarillo they didn’t impress me. Also, their flaunting the large banner at the end of the game claiming to be “Champions of the Alpha league�, didn’t sit well. They’re sharing it with two other teams. Now onto the bigger issue, we need to get back to full strength if we’re to make a statement in the playoffs. I can’t wait to see the CIF parings that come out tomorrow. We will drop but hopefully not too much

Yeah, St. Francis has to hope for the one at-large berth in the the Western Division. My guess is they will get it. They were ranked No. 1 in the Division long ago, and a 6-4 overall record with their strength of schedule should get them in over a fourth place team from another league.

Gotta Question. Is there any way for St. Francis to make the playoffs and if so how?

Maranatha blew it Friday night against Whittier Christian by attempting too many 40-yd. passing patterns that came up empty. Minutemen QB Alex Clash was an anemic 6-19-1-58 and just couldnt get it together. They should have called more screen and short yardage plays and relied more on the sure-handedness of Kyle Delahooke and #44 (?). I particularly recall a completion to Delahooke where he busted through the secondary for a 30yd. gainer. He has the strength and reliability....USE HIM!
Hats off to Whittier Christian's TB Esteban Camarillo. That kid ran like greased lightening!
Good luck to both teams in the playoffs. I'm a Minutemen fan, but in all honesty...they have their work cut out if they want to advance in the Playoffs.

Well all we have left is to wait until tomorrow and see who plays who? My congratulations to the Lancers in winning their leaugue straight out, undefeated! The St. Monica Mariners were dispatched yesterday 34 - 7 and today the Lancers begin preparation for the next 4 wins. The Lancers will be ready Friday night under the lights to take on all comers!
Lets get ready to RUMBLE!!!!

And about Poly/RHP, personally I do not think that Poly will when the title they play well but, I know they they had a good game only because it was agianst Rio and they were the team to beat. And if you ask me I think that RHP will go farther in the playoffs than poly.

OUTSTANDING! What a fun game to watch.. Pasadena came in to KARE FIELD and got the job done, and they got it done in style...dominating the front line throughout the whole game. The RHP fans werent as loud as they were in the past but thats because the RHP offense couldnt get anything going.. And if Im not mistaken that is the first time any poly on that team has beaten a Rio Hondo Prep team. What really suprised me about the game was Poly's Defense, they allowed only two first downs in three quarters, and towards the end of the game when Rio's offense finally started to move down the field and was about to score Poly's defense came up with and interception in the endzone to secure the shutout. Over all I have to say it was worth goin to the game.

I was very impressed with Pasadena Poly on Friday. They're a much more physical team than I thought they were. Hirschmann is a horse and Sherman is a good-sized quarterback with a healthy and accurate arm.
But I wouldn't give up on Rio Hondo Prep. They will bounce back, just as they always do. But I'll bet they were surprised at how easily Poly controlled the line of scrimmage.

FYI- Here's a quick update from Whittier College. Whittier Christian 20, Maranatha 6. According to Maranatha coach Joel Murphy, prior to the game a league respresentative drew straws to determine an order should there be a three-way tie for first place.

Whittier (8-2, 4-1) won the draw and the game, giving them the top seed in the Alpha League. The order of the last two teams, Maranatha (8-2, 4-1) and Brentwood (6-4, 4-1), was established on the head-to-head matchup. Since Maranatha beat Brentwood earlier in the year, Maranatha was given the second seed while Brentwood took third.

Hey Fred howcome you still show no love for La Salle now? You say that it would be great to see LC play LS, well bring Peterson on for the kids at LS, because apparently last year they did not get embarrased enough. Need I say LS has embarrased LC two years in a row and this year were two SCARED to play them a third time. LS is a sleeper in the Mid-Valley division, and throw them whoever you want at them in CIF, they will be scared of big bad MONROVIA? Sorry not!

I know this isn't really on topic, but just for everyone who says that that the TC O-line's size is their biggest attribute, there are two lineman weigh 225, one weighs 230, one weighs 220, and one weighs 260. Their heights are, from left side to right, 6', 5'11'', 5'7'', 5'9'', 5'11''. That averages out to be 232lbs and 5'10'' a lineman. Clearly size is not a strong area for them, but their strength and speed are of a different nature.

I can't believe Saint Francis lost four games in a row, and might not even make the playoffs. The Seniors on that team never lost a game their Freshman year. That's including the mighty Notre Dame. As Sophomores, I believe they only lost one game, but still managed to beat Notre Dame. This group of Seniors were very special and should of continued to Dominate as they became Seniors. But Why didn't they? Over the past several years the lower levels at SF have put together championship teams, undefeated teams, and nothing less than a 8-2 mark. Why is it that when they get to Varsity, everything goes down hill. I believe every year you should get better and better, and if they don't, What do you think that is a reflection of. I'm tired of SF Football wasting good talent. What a shame. It's not fair to the kids, their families, and especially Alumni. Something needs to be changed. In the past Ten years, their is no reason why the Saint Francis Golden Knights shouldn't have at least Three CIF Championships. Their is nothing more disheartening than "WASTED TALENT". I think the SF coaching staff owe this group of Seniors an apology for letting them down. They failed to bring them up properly. They failed to make them stronger and faster. They failed in making them better football players. Why is it that this team, who beat everyone in their first two years, can only win one league game. That's unacceptable!!! With the exception of Coach Kinlaw, who's knowledge of the game is oustanding, with the resume to go along with, Their needs to be a big change. That's if Saint Francis wants to win Championships.

I'm not saying they didn't do bad, and I agree the PI was questionable, and the facemask was MORE than evident. And yes everyone makes mistakes, thats what seperates the good players from the great ones. Both are great players and teams have tuned in on them, but the thing is in big time spots, they didn't perform.

Lavelle Peterson and David Potts would not have fumbled to TC or thrown an interception to monrovia respectively.

Congrats to Monrovia for last night's win. They weren't as dominating as their blog rep, but they did an excellent job of controlling the clock and they were solid all the way around. Dspite the score, SP was never really in it.

What Monrovla deserves more credit for though was after the game. We heard from several SP players how much class Monrovia showed. No trash talking, just support for fellow RHL players, particulary from Potts, who apparently took the time to say something positive to everyone.

Nice to see - good luck in CIF. We'll work hard to change things next year though (LOL)!

There was no phantom PI aganst SP. The SP DB "faceguarded" which is an automatic PI in HS rules. Faceguarding is when a player puts his hands up, without looking back for the ball.

NCAA and NFL rules don't alway jive with HS rules. Just beacuase John Maddon or Keith Jackson told you what the rule is on a Saturday or Sunday, does not mean the rule is the same on Friday nights.

Re the person who wrote regarding SP's two key players' mistakes in clutch games, let me say this: Give credit to two talented and well-coached teams, Monrovia and TC for having good game plans. Congratulations to everyone on the SP team. They left their heart, soul, spit and blood on the field. Congratulations to the SP coachinig staff too.

Duarte is the only deserving team from the Montview League to make playoffs. There is not much to say about the rest of the league. I can't wait to see TC and Monrovia in the finals just so that we can put to rest which is the best league in Mid-Valley Division. Congrats to my Alma mater So Pas on a great season.

Re the comments about SP's two best players not playing up to par. From what I saw last night, Michael Flynn threw 215 yards and I think that is pretty good! It takes a whole team to win a game, not just a couple of players. If you noticed, the other teams pretty much focused on Michael and Josh. SP held Monrovia to one touchdown -- what other team did that? Did you notice the phantom pass intereference called against SP and two agaisnt Monrovia and how the face masking on SP's quarterback was not called. I am not taking anything away from Monrovia -- they played a great game and are a solid team. But give SP a break -- they did great. They have a small roster and were probably pretty exhausted by the end of the game. You and I were not out on the field playing. Let's focus on the positive and not the negative. These are high school kids, teenagers -- not pros, although I have noticed while watching pro football, professonal players do fumble and professional players do throw interceptions! Oh no!!!!!

Does anyone know when they changed the number of teams the RHL made to the playoffs from 4 to 3? My senior year we made the playoffs with 2-8 record. We beat San Marino and Blair, so we got the 4th playoff spot and were lucky enough to play Paso Robles....who destroyed us with there 2nd stringers. I'm not complaining about the number of teams that make it because to go to the playoffs is special, and if you can't get it done in league then you don't deserve to go.
I do think you will see a RHL CIF Champion though. RHL will represent.

Let me put this in perspective for you.

SP lost a close one to TC 6-0 While monrovia destroyed LC 38-0
Then TC beats LC in a close game and monrovia in a less of a closer game
the a SP team that loses to lC by 32, gives Monrovia the hardest game theyve played (to win, TC and West co obviously put out harder games since they did win the game)

Not to mention San Marino DESTROYED Workman.

Your right, our team did a great job, its just disappointing for fans, and im sure players alike, when your two big time players come up short in the two most importnat games of the saeason.

And it soudns like you were at the game, so you saw taht last interception Michael Flynn threw, there was one tiger and about 3 or 4 Cats around that play.

The CIF normally seeds only the top four teams in a division, which may even be a second place team at times.

Because you are a top seed, does not mean you get a 16th seed, for all league champs are guarenteed a first round home game and then they draw the at-large, fouth place, then third place, and finally second place teams.

That is how CIF does it, which is somewhat differently how most seem to seed tournaments. A top seeded team may get a first round tri-champ. The Almont League has tri-champs this year and the leagues prioritize which team finish so one league champion may face Schurr in the first round because they lost the coin flip.

For the other round playoff home teams, the team with the fewest home games is home and if they are the same, coin flip. Those winning second place team most often get a home game for the second round.

cry me a river, call up cif and you tell them personaly to change the leagues. if not there isnt a thing you can do about it, so stop complaning. just remember at the end of day there is only 1 winner, and thats the cif champion.

With nearly every game completed, the Mid-Valley playoffs are starting to shape up.
Temple City (9-1) will likely be the top seed and get the division's worst team, which should be Sierra Vista (3-7), the fourth place team in the Montview League.

Of all the league champions, La Salle's overall 5-5 record (which it will be after today's win), isn't impressive in a division where the four other league champs will have records of 8-2 are better. Don't be surprised if CIF gives La Salle the best third place team, which should be La Canada. Wouldn't that be great, La Salle playing its first Friday night game under its own lights against Peterson.

Well the main point, mr, is that people do win games, but the fact is there are too many decent teams in the RHL which were competitive this season. Therefore, its disappointing that decent teams will be left out of the playoffs, just because of the league they happen to be in...

all you rhl people talk about is how the montview league is weak and this and that. dont worry about the any other league in the mid-valley div. you just win your games and stop complaing, that stuff is for girls.

The Sr. Sean Kelley was the difference last night. The Monrovia PK was 3-3 in FG atttempts... and his 9 pts provided the cushion needed in securing a 2nd place finish.

You spoke earlier of missed opportunities... INTs and missed FGs. The same could be said for the Cats... hell, the same could be said for most any hs football team. RB JJ Davis had two, long runs (50yds.+) called back... WR Fernando Gonzalez had a TD reception negated because he inadvertently step on the side stripe before catching the ball... TE Patrick Green dropped two TD catches, both drilled in by David Potts in close quarters... RB Shawn Sparks had a pass in the flat bounce off his chest and INT (this happened inside the 10 going in, on the Cats first possession... setting the tone for the rest of the night, unfortunately)

The point is there are no coulda, woulda, shouldas.

Ed Smith and his boys should be proud of their season... but it shouldn't be over. CIF taking Sierra Vista over So Pas is an embarrassment... CIF needs to re-exam their policies (like that comment won't be repeated 1000 times in the next 72 hours!)

Monrovia HS Freshmen football team finished with a perfect 10-0 season record and SHUTTED OUT all of the Rio Hondo League teams. In addition, M-town freshmen beat Bishop Amat 18-0 early in the season. Look out for these group of players in the near future.

Have you ever gone to work Friday morning with a severe hangover? Well, I think the Cats went to work Thursday night with one after last week's letdown. Hopefully, we will regain focus and hunger and finish 12-2. GO CATS!

The tigers did an amazing job tonight. You know i look back and we played two top seated teams in TC and Monrovia, and in TC we were there (parish fumbling...) and Monrovia we were their (Flynn two interceptions and blevens missed a FG)

It came down to the best players needing to make plays, and they didnt, but without them this season would have been a lot worse.

I remember being a referee in this game and being a back judge and standing behind the defense between plays and actually tapping my foot while the drums of Muir High School were coming through the tunnel.

This is a magical night for all involved.
