WHERE'S THE ALL-LEAGUE LISTS THAT YOU WERE GONNA POST UP, FRED!?
Minuteman Fan,
The Spartans (13-0) will play Cerritos Valley Christian (13-2) today at 7:30 p.m. at La Salle High for the tournament title.
Minutman Fan:
MaxPreps shows a 3:00 game for Maranatha v Alhambra. I'm guessing at La Salle, at least that's where I'm going
anyone know the times and places for the basketball finals today (Sat. Dec 30th)?
Fred,
How about Marshall?? I tried to tell you they were overated. But i didnt expect them to get blown out by Alhambra.
I was wrong about La Salle. They look horrible.
A. Campa
I thought it was me, as I have only been to two La Salle games, last night and La Canada two weeks ago. Both of these losses have been ugly.
I'm staying away tonight, so the Lancers can march to that coveted 5th place finish.
The Lancers had a great trip to Maui, getting to the finals. So is it you, A. Campa, or is it me?
Arcadia had the lead against Keppel with seconds to play, but Keppel ran a great play, with multiple passes resuling in a layup and the win.
La Salle - Arcadia tonight at 6 pm at La Salle, go Lancers!
In case anyone was interested- here are Friday's semifinal matchups in the La Salle/Temple City Classic
Keppel (10-3) versus Cerritos Valley Christian (11-2) at 7:30 p.m. at La Salle HS.
La Canada (13-0) versus Hoover (12-0) at Temple City HS at 7:30.
I'm not sure if I've just been to two bad games, but from what I've seen of La Salle- well, they haven't looked good.
They went nearly 14 minutes without converting a field goal in Thursday's game against a very average, if not scrappy Valley Christian bunch. VC is 11-2, but were only 2-2 against teams with winning records prior to the La Salle game.
That LC-Hoover game should be a beauty. Bet the News-Press is salivating over this one. I think it'll be a Keppel-Hoover final.
Well, Arcadia is a very underrated team, they dont have any star players like last year like Nigel Ajere, but the depth of there bench is one of the best in the area. Anyone from the bench can step up and play, however, they aren't that good to make it into the semis or finals of this tournament
Freddie,
Marshall got beat by Arcadia by 15. I hate to say i told you so... BUT
For my own predictions. I see it being La Salle against Hoover. Although the true championship game will be when Hoover matches up with La Canada in the semis at TC.

We'll find out soon enough, I'm going to watch Marshall this afternoon. I agree they haven't played top quality teams, but they keep improving under coach Jerry D.
Fred- Nice job with the predictions. I think you will be surprised with how Marshall does. Yes they are undefeated, but take a look at who they have played. One of there wins was actually a loss. An 18 point defeat to the hands of Temple City?? There is no way Marshall gets past both Keppel and La Salle. Also,be prepared for a few upsets on the top half of the bracket
