This brightend my day so can I brighten yours?

Never tell a lie unless it is absolutely convenient.

maybe you're proper, thanks

Fantastic post with good info, think i'll share this on my twitter if you do not mind and maybe even blogroll it depending on the feedback, thank you for sharing

I'm not sure if it's in App World but go to 123Spoof.com and download the app. BEST APP EVER! It allows you to change what your caller ID shows up as on someone elses phone when you call them. Also Vlingo is pretty cool.

Davis announced on campus today that he is going to Wyoming...
Good luck in Laramie, James. You are a football player... and you'll get the chance to show that every day in college.

New York said:

So what happened? Who is going where, officially?

BigMLover said:

hugefanofmtown...

Every scouting site is listing as Davis SIGNED with Wyoming... not VERBAL but SIGNED.

Are you certain of your earlier post?

James Davis is ranked #10 in the state of california the running back is going to be a buff and i think is onw of the top players in the area. James had three sophomore offensive o lineman which no one talked about and since they were young made tons of mistakes. Davis had 529 yards called back along with 7 touchdowns. Congratulations James who got second team all area and is really a first teamer. He handled the situation like a classy kid should he's a great kid and will be the best

New York said:

Oh man, I hope my Monrovia boys are not turning down full-rides to go to a Jr. college with the hopes of bigger name schools calling on them down the rode.

I really can't think of any situation where a full-ride to SDSU and UNLV would not be better than trying your luck at a JC.

Draw a decision tree. We need to review some optionality.

Arcadia Fans,
Class of 2006 news. Travis Gowan, Arcadia, QB at Portland State, has left the school to play at Citrus College. Was he homesick?

Audarrius Bailey will play at Citrus next year after
taking a year off.

Who's Cedric Ho?

Sean

Way to go man, UC Davis is outstanding. Football will be a terrific experience to add to what will be some of the best and most memorable years in your life. Davis has an excellent academic reputation.

Hey BigA

Frankly this is a big disappointment-especially if Brooks and Potts were being offered a full ride. I believe there were some academic issues for Brooks(?) during the season, do you think that may have been the route that took them away? They weren't ready? I don't think JCs and exposure to getting hurt in JUCO ball will really help.

Re: Scout.com

"A pair of 3-star prospects from Monrovia, Calif., who were both expected to sign with Mountain West schools on Wednesday, both decided over the weekend that the junior college route will be the road they take. Eric Brooks, a tight end from Monrovia, ranked No. 5 in California, and David Potts, a quarterback, were expected to sign with San Diego State and UNLV respectively but will attend Arizona Western College instead in the fall."

UC Davis has a beautiful new stadium that is almost done. You'll like it.

Any updates on Lavelle Peterson or Kevin Hess?

Observer said:

I heard Brian Hirschmann has accepted an offer from Harvard. His older brother played a year or two for Yale

New York said:

Sean,

Congratulations. UC Davis is a phenomenal opportunity. One of my younger brothers really liked their program and came very close to choosing them. They have made some big moves over the years.

All you players out there with good grades: Letters of Intent do not restrict you from changing your mind and going to a non-scholarship school (such as the Ivy League).

New York said:

The verbal commitment is about the only part of the recruiting process that is in the athletes favor. Athletes should lock one in with any school as early as possible. They are binding on the school's behalf but not the student's. It is a nice insurance policy.

Sean Kelley said:

I verbally committed to UC Davis tonight and will be signing my LOI on Wednesday.

The starting full back for colorado is senior Samson Jagoras #43 from Arcadia High. James Davis might run behind him or redshirt.

Im sorry im sadly mistaken the all purpose has signed with Cal Berkely he's going to be a bear???

hugefanofmtown said:

James Davis just took his verbal back and has committed to COLORADO this is crazy how these kids do this if the colleges did this the kids would be angry. When asked why he did this he replied I got a pitch i couldn't refuse

New York said:

Any word on Sean Kelly, Monrovia's kicker?

Fred, will there be cameras at the various schools to capture the moment as these guys are signing?

New York said:

That's great news about Thomas. FS is one of the top programs in the West.

Fred,

Just curious, why are there so many duplicated posts. There are 3 pairs in this area alone. Is it poster operator error, or is something in the software?

Fan,
I was not referring to Coach Bell. I was referring to Josh Knight, last year's QB coach. I think he will coach at a JC in LA. To the best of my knowledge, Coach Bell is still on staff as well as the AD.

Similar to what Fred asks, does anyone have any updates on Peterson or Potts?

I think last year's QB coach and D-coordinator took off to JC's.

Let's not forget about Kyle Delahooke from Maranatha. A family friend tells me that he's signing with Navy on the 7th. Kyle's got a GPA over 4.0 and SAT/ACT scores that are off the charts. That's the type of kid that I want at Annapolis training to defend our country!

Matt said:

I hope all these kids are squared away with GPA and SAT/ACT scores. Best of luck to all of them.
