Prediction time .... Who's going to win Saturday's All-Star games?
What: Tribune/Star-News All-Star Classic
Where: Azusa Pacific University
When: Saturday
Who: Star-News vs. Tribune girls, 5:30 p.m.; Star-News vs. Tribune boys, 7:30 p.m.

Star-News boys lost for the first time last year, but still lead the series against the Tribune 2-1. I was at the first practice last week, and guys that stood out were South Pasadena point guard Darin Nakauchi, Monrovia's Markus Monroe, and of course Trevon Harmon and Nigel Ajere. Malik and Ho were on vacation and will join the team for practice this week.
MVP prediction: Malik.

Observer,
Dont count out the Star-News girls just yet, I think with all those allstars they might have a chance, and the star-news boys should win with harmon and monroe on the same team
Nice, Fred. Even after I tell you that Morita no logner goes to Arroyo, you refer this guy to me ... Uh yeah, Morita = No longer at Arroyo. Going to school somewhere else. His world tour continues ...
Arroyo players are part of Tribune territory, you would have to take that up with Aram
how come jeremy morita, arroyo high, isn't playing or wasn't invited?
I don't see how either game is going to be competitive. The Trib girls are going to win going away, and so will the Star-News boys. But I disagree, Nigel is going to win the MVP, and slam dunk if he's entered
