Fourth annual Tribune/Star-News All-Star Classic rosters announced

Who: Star-News boys and girls area all-stars vs. Tribune boys and girls area all-stars
When: Saturday, April 21
Where: Azusa Pacific University
Series record: Star-News boys and girls lead Tribune 2-1
Girls game: 5:30 p.m. (includes 3-point shooting contest)
Boys game: 7:30 p.m. (includes 3-point shooting and slam dunk contest)
Admission: $8 adults, $5 kids
Proceeds: Coaches against cancer

PLAYERS REMINDER: First practice for all-stars will be on Thursday, April 12 at La Canada High School. The girls practice begins at 5 p.m., followed by the boys at 6:30.

Above: Almont League player of the year Noel Madrigal and Rio Hondo League co-player of the year Joy Lelo will represent the boys and girls all-star squads.

Keppel is ranked 3rd in StarNews. How come none of keppel player got selected ? They have a very good PG.

I would love to, but organizing this event is time consuming. We would need more outside help to put a couple soccer games together...It's something to think about though
