Division II
Thursday's first round
Arcadia (Pacific #2) at Righetti (Pac7 #1)
Note: Tough draw for the Apaches with potential games against Palos Verdes and El Toro just to reach the quarterfinals
Division III
Friday's first round
WC winner (Ontario or Highland) at Alhambra (Almont #1 and No.3 seed)
Note: El Rancho and La Mirada are potential opponents for Moors to reach quarters
Division V
Friday's First Round
Top Half
Bosco Tech (Camino Real #2) at Calvary Chapel Murriea (Big Sky No. 2)
St. Monica (Del Rey #3) at Gabrielino (Mission Valley #1)
Duarte (Montview #2) at Temple City (Rio Hondo #2)
Bottom Half
San Marino (Rio Hondo #3) at Cantwell Sacred Heart (Camino Real #1)
Wild card (Aquinas or St. Bernard) at Monrovia (Rio Hondo #1 and No. 2 seed)
Division Note: Wildcats have to be happy with No. 2 seed, which means they wouldn't meet top-ranked Bishop Amat until the finals. San Marino also has a great draw, facing an average No. 1 team in Cantwell Sacred Heart, then could potentially meet Montview League champion Sierra Vista in the second round. Would love to see Temple City and Gabrielino advance and meet in the second round, and both have enough pitching to reach the second round. If Bosco Tech is lucky enough to advance to second round, it runs into Bishop Amat.
Division VI
Tuesday's wild card
Mammoth (Desert Mtn No. 3) at Rio Hondo Prep (Prep No. 3)
Thursday's first round
WC winner (Pacific Hills or New Roads) at Pasadena Poly (Prep No. 1 and top seed)
Maranatha (Delphic No. 2) at Rolling Hills Prep (Harbor No. 1)
Note: Only Poly could stand in Poly's way of reaching championship and winning it. They've got what they want, a No. 1 seed and the division's best pitcher in Robbie Rasmussen. Enjoy the ride. Should Maranatha advance in first round, it would likey face No. 2 seed San Jacinto.

Um, Wow and Anonymous, sf lost the season on errors. that's how they lost to phs. errors cost you runs. so pitchers had good era's and good hitters got their hits, but these could not make up for errors and some poor coaching decisions on defensive positioning.
wait are you guys all morons? when did i ever say st francis was good. i'm talking about their league. we will see wat team goes the farthest from what league. and it should be expected that poly and monrovia make it all the way considering they are in d 6 and 5. TC is a joke like the rest of that RHL. you fools will see in the East West all star game that the best players come from st francis. and their team wasnt even good this year. but their league always is.
You mean St. Francis the Mission League team that lost to the last place team in the Pacific League - that great team?
wow...What makes you think anyone here cares about the Mission League right now? Our area's underacheiving Mission League team soiled the bed and is done for the season and so is the Mission League.
im trying to say that every league around here is weak except mission league. you realize that duarte was beaten 14-2 by SF and then some knucklehead says that TC has a tough schedule because they have to start with the good number 2 seed duarte? are you serious?
Wait are you trying to say that the RHL is weak?
i wasnt boosting them. they sucked this year. i was just using fact to show how good the mission league is and how weak the teams in this area are and the leagues especially. so now what sweet disses are you gonna say?
Try making the playoffs next time St. Francis guy ("wow" from the previous post).
I I I I I
VVVVV
just to show you all how pathetic these leagues are. if quote, " it's surprising that TC got Duarte in first round...a solid #2 team (actually co-league champs in Montview, but got #2 due to tie breaker)think they got the toughest road to the finals out of all the RHL. Good Luck to all RHL teams." If Duarte, a team that SF BEAT 14-2, is a good team then that just shows how weak TC and all the teams from this area are including their leagues. If temple city struggles against duarte then they should just give up for the rest of playoffs. Gimme a break. this just goes to show how good the Mission League is compared to every other league around here and how ridiculously biased all you people are. "a good number 2 see", haha gimme a break.
Hi Paul:
Long time since we last talked in December at PCC before our championship game. Man, it’s a long shot but would be great to see a 210 fwy game, RHP against Maranatha, we can dream, can’t we?
Looking forward to the upcoming Sept rematch, we’ve got to get the monkey off our back, and it will be even harder having to play at your field, and if I remember correctly you nicknamed, “The Black Hole”
Hope to see you soon
Tom
How did SM get so lucky to face "a average #1 seed" Monrovia did a good job finishing the season strong to grab the #2 seed, but it's surprising that TC got Duarte in first round...a solid #2 team (actually co-league champs in Montview, but got #2 due to tie breaker)think they got the toughest road to the finals out of all the RHL. Good Luck to all RHL teams.
Tom S--
A RH Prep wild card win and a win against a #1 seed along with Maranatha getting past a #1 seed and you have the 210FWY series RH Prep vs. Maranatha.
The Headline is incorrect!!!!!!!!!!!
Pasadena Polytechnic is the NUMBER ONE seed in D6.
(BIG MISTAKE...it even says Poly is # 1 in the description of D-VI further down in the Article).
...And by the way, San Jacinto is a very solid team this year, so Maranatha will probably have a difficult time getting past them.
Surprising to see Poly got a number two seed after being number one in D VI all season. Hopefully Monrovia and Poly can bring home D 5 and 6 respectively. Anyone else remember how good that Monrovia/Poly game was?
I’m looking forward to see how far Maranatha will advance. After finishing 14-10-1 for the season and co- champions with Windward with a 7 – 1 league record, in the somewhat weak Delphic league they are peaking. In their last 4 games against
Pacific Hills and Kilpatrick, with a combined 10 and 27 records they had an overall run tally of 57 runs scored while only allowing 6 runs against them.
It will be great to watch how far they go in playoffs
