ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
With so many schools out there, I thought I'd ask for some assistance in finding out about who had a big week in either girls tennis, girls volleyball, boys water polo, or cross country.
Thank you for your help.

this is a laugh for you from me
Every solution breeds new problems.
I would like to thank you for the efforts you have made in writing this post. I am hoping the same best work from you in the future as well. In fact your creative writing abilities has inspired me to start my own BlogEngine blog now.
trawick rushed for 193, 4 tds, and was the difference in the game which put san marino on top
robbie pusic
You are not going to find much better than Anders Mac Carthy in the area. If you haven't seen much water polo go watch Anders play and you will go see more.
troy ahmaz for sure!
two weeks in a row an arcadia player should get it. that backfield of walker and ahmaz is virtually unstoppable with that offense coach D brewed up. if walker gives it to ahmaz it will b e a thundering first down and if walker keeps it it is always something special to see. troy ahmaz athlete of te week 250+ yards rushing!!! wow
Hands down Anders MaCarthy is a deserving candidate. He shines as a senior, leading sphs with goals and boosting team moral as a captain. He has been a leader of the team and star of the Rio Hondo League in his four year varsity tenure at South Pasadena.
I hear Arcadia has one of Southern California's best water polo players in Robbie Pusic.
Does the PSN cover FSHA or is it strictly the Daily News?
Sam Orlandini is covered by the Daily News.

troy amhaz, 254 yards and 3 touchdowns and many tackles at strong saftey
Anders MacCarthy is definitely a possibility for player of the week. I know water polo isn't nearly as big as football or another sport, but this kid was amazing this past week. He is the leader of his team and I believe he was All American honorable mention last year. I know anonymous earlier said he had 20 goals in the five game tourney but it was really more like 30.
I was at the La Salle/San Marino game. With John Trawick in the line up, San Marino edged out a win over La Salle. If he was not in the line up, I think La Salle would have edged out a win over San Marino. He was the difference in the game. Other players may have had better numbers, but he was the difference between victory and defeat in the game.
By the way, I am a La Salle supporter, but credit should be given when credit is due, and John Trawick deserves the credit.
Troy Amaz hands down. This guy could play in the IE.
John Trawick of San Marino. Rushed for 190 yards on offense, made a bunch of key tackles on defense, and was the punter for the Titans.
troy amhaz!!!!!!! stud...he deserves it
The time has come for muir to hire a whole new coaching staff. This not the first time they had a big lead and lose it and it wont be the last.
fire howard
sam orlandini, flintridge sacred heart's setter. she runs that team
ObservantCat,
Hahaha. Nice post =]
What happened to last years "athlete of the week" section on this webpage? It listed the players and had a sound bite from both the male and female athlete?
I think with all my heart that Stang Fan should recieve explayer of the week for his admission that Muir is Vunerable and Human at times.....LOL
Kris Romero of Arcadia boys cross country ran a 14:40 for 3 miles (4:53 mile average) and was the 4th southern section d1 runner in the race. The meet is the largest 1 day invitational in the country
but, i didn't help you scottG, because this was football. sorry
troy amhaz, 254 yards vs. monrovia and 3 touchdowns...i think.
Anders MacCarthy, of South Pasadena Water polo scored 10 goals in the final game at Riverside Poly Tourny against Redlands. He had at least 20 if not more goals over the 5 game tourny.
