Fascinating. No Pepsi or Wal-Mart? Keep in mind the uproar of those two re-brands? Surpr ised to view they did notmake the ??Worst??? l ist, glad to view that Kraft created it tho.
Maintain it up, great task! Just the data I needed to have.
how outdated is your blog? th is is the first time I identified it.
Fascinating..
That sounds lovely. I enjoy those moments. For some cause, studying that developed me really delighted.
Though I like the AOL layout I ca nothelp but criticize the lack of readability. As an unrecognizable new search that is a huge deviation in the unique, I'd have manufactured the AOL letters in opposition to a different background or somehow emphasize the A a little bit much more.
Th is is really a valuable post, but I was asking yourself how do I suscribe to your RSS feed?
is so appropriate its virtually unpleasant.
Great page, I like how the website looks! The design is excellent!
When I view your RSS feed it just gives me a ton of unformatted html, would be the deal on my reader?
Suppose it's spot on, and now that we??? ve commenced the launch I'm wondering what sits ahead of.
i think the top 1 may be the meredith

It will be great infomation for me,thanks quite substantially! Hope do one thing a lot more like th is!
The whole point of [logo] style is just not to show off??? what you could do. It's not about bells and wh istles. It truly is that sort of thinking which has a lot of latest designers applying gradients on each design factor as if they'd something to complete with v isual communication. The lion drawing does notneed anymore pol ishing. From where by I stand, It can be at a stage the place it could possibly ONLY be utilized or d iscarded. When you think it demands additional pol ishing ,that it's too cartoony??? , or that you've got styl istic objections together with the alternative, then maybe you??? re from the mistaken profession. You??? re complaining about one thing very elementary to modern day graphic layout. I've read from a few of the greats to the topic of style and I do consider I have a deal with on the subject. It isn't your handle, I have an understanding of that. What I do notunderstand is your layout philosophy. It is well-known which you suppose Nike and Shell are good manufacturers. Maybe you??? re an Worldwide Model zealot who thinks a grid may be the reply to every layout challenge. Maybe that may be what you meant by pol ished? Or even you??? re into a lot of pointless detail on the logo which will turn into no ise since it is shrunken down? I do notknow. My grammar is generally high-quality, thank you for asking. It is my spelling that was off in a number of places and for that, I apologize, but, you realize, if my grammar was anywhere close to as horrible as you claim then you??? d have had a hard time comprehending what I wrote. There would be almost nothing for you to react to. I do notknow about you, nevertheless it is tough for me to have angry at gibber ish specially when I have no idea what it means.
Tyvm for the great data! I would not have observed th is myself!
Thank you so much, excellent post! Th is was the issue I needed to know.
I totally agree with kraft foods logo. It??s really negative. But absolutely desagree with nickelodeon logo. The initial a person was significantly better.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass' favor.
Wonderful to read!
Good post, thanks
La Canada beat Montebello at Pasadena City College pool in their season opener last night. Pretty good game. LC lead most of the way, and 6-5 at half, but Bello came back to lead by 7-6 early in the second half.
LC then scored six unanswered. Bello scored their final to make it 12-8 with time running out against the LC scrubs (Daniel Tilem blows the coverage and Bello player makes a nice shot!).
hows la canada doing this year? anybody know who they have played?
all i can say is knowing the talent that sphs possesses this year combined with the work they've put in, it should be a good season. i know sp has won their two openers, with the arcadia home scrimmage and the domination of whittier away today under their belt.
Forums such as these provide exposure for the sport that it is not accustomed to receiving. I think that if the Star News has a goal of increasing participation and appreciation of all the HS sports in the SGV while obviously covering the big money sports of football, basketball, and baseball than some steps that could be taken are having more players of the week that are water polo players. I assure you that there are players in the SGV that can do amazing things in the pool, worthy of such an honor. Also, continuing to post and comment on the CIF rankings throughout the season. Many of teh SGV teams will be present in these polls till the end. ANother idea that could broaden the horizon of sports, not just water polo, is to award the best athletic departments each year. This would be similar to the Director's Cup in the NCAA. The value of this could be tremendous in gaining an understanding of the athletic picture of our SGV high schools. There are many other great ideas out there to build our "hidden gem" of water polo's reputation, but the bottom line is that it truly deserves the accolades and is a HS sport the SGV can be proud of.
I think there are a few things that could be done, but ultimately, the attention from the general public will not come until there is a cultural shift towards the sport. One disadvantage water polo deals with in that respect is, unlike other successful niche sports (lacrosse, rugby), 80% of the action is underwater. This requires a great deal of knowledge about the rules and complexities of the game in order to comprehend what is going on at any given time. Once that knowledge is gained, however, the sport becomes dynamic, suspenseful, and athletic.
Bayou Vol, That's phenominal that the SGV is being represented so well at such high levels. I didn't know that. I might have to come out and watch a little waterpolo!
This thing seems to happen a lot in the SGV prep news coverage. There are many current players in the SGV that have had recognition in the highest levels of USA volleyball, but you never hear of it locally. I'd guess that the same could be said for other sports as well. Short of emailing the paper the press releases from the National USA programs, what can be done?
In comparing SGV football and SGV waterpolo, the level of talent and skill in the SGV is much greater in waterpolo. Whereas football coaches across teh country look to LB Poly, Loyola, Oaks Christian, etc. for top tier talent year in and year out, water polo coaches look to La Canada, South Pasadena, St. Francis, Crescenta Valley, and recently Temple City to fill their Div. 1 coffers. Speaking with limited knowledge of the development of the SM and TC programs, I know that LC and SP alumni have trained and played with the olympic team, set NCAA records at the highest level, played and starred at college programs such as USC, UCLA, Pepperdine, UCSD, UC Berkeley, Stanford, US Naval Academy, US Air Force Academy, UC Santa Cruz, CSULB, University of Tennessee, and many others. Each year the SGV produces numerous All Americans and all-CIF players. From the team perspective, a telling fact about the quality of SGV water polo is that a legitimate goal of teams like LC, SP, TC, and others is a CIF championship. This is their goal year in and year out. This is not the same in football (especially before the CIF realignment). Water polo is a SGV sport that does not get the attention or recognition from the general public it deserves in relation to the respect it receives by the highest levels of the sport.
A foul in water polo is generally any action that causes excessive contact with an opposing player, as long as that player is not in direct possession of the ball, thereby impeding the offensive player from freedom of movement. There are certain categories of fouls, much like in hockey, which result in a 20 second ejection and a "power play," referred to as a "6 on 5" situation. Generally these fouls are committed by impeding the forward progress of an offensive player from behind (ex. dunking him and kicking him from behind as he swims for the ball)
What is considered a "foul" (if there is such a thing) in Waterpolo? I don't know much about the sport.
ok so now that waterpolo has gotten its coverage, how about the best cross country team in the SGV getting some love
thank you for finally mentioning water polo! its better than hearing nonstop talk about those marshmellows called football players
i think it's called the trout tussle.
Waterpolo at certain levels is one of those tough self-regulating sports. Similar in culture to rugby.
As for a dominant SGV water polo program the last ten years or so, La Canada stands pretty far above the rest. After La Canada, I would say South Pas has maintained a strong program, despite a few down years here and there. So Pas and former coach Jerry Wolf had a tremendous run in the 1990's (similar to the Larry Naeve teams of the 2000's, but a different style) TC has just recently begun to come on as a perennial contender in the RHL and CIF. The big difference between these programs and the other SGV teams is STRONG club participation for teams like Rose Bowl Aquatics that consistently employ the best coaches in the country. SP and LC have for years looked to the Mecca of waterpolo, Orange Co., for their off season tournaments. They compete and win against the best teams in the country and year in and year out produce all-americans and successful Div. 1 athletes. I would venture to say that, along with girls soccer, the SGV produces more Div. 1 water polo talent than any other high school sport.
Is there any one SGV team that dominates this sport?
Does John Muir and Pasadena High still have the Tuna Tussle?
congratulations to all the swimmers out there.
who wants to talk about football?
