Lovefootball,
Because of the "Prep" reference, I suspect your loyalties lay with Flintridge. (The Flintridge supporters I know always refer to the school as "Prep") But hey, that's cool they are having a great season and that win over Chadwick was monumental! Here's the contrarian view to your post.....The only "marching up and down the field", during that game was Maranatha's coaches.
Save for a goal line stance and a great run by Love, that game was ALL Rio Hondo Prep.
Prediction:
RH Prep: 21
F Prep: 10
lovefootball--
What RH Prep/Maranatha game were you watching? Maranatha had one first down in the first half against Rio Hondo. My son's total offensive output exceeded Maranatha's team total. Rio got into the red zone 4 times--Maranatha once for their score. Precisely why people shouldn't put too muck stock in a blog post because many people are simply wrong and speculating. If you are privy to any game stats, I suggest you take a second look. As a good Maranatha supporter I'm sure you'll come back and retract your post about Maranatha running all over Rio. Call him a 3rd stringer if you wish, I call him a Junior that was held back a year....
No so fast -
I think it is Prep over Rio Hondo 28-10.
Though the score was only 7-0 when Maranatha beat Rio Hondo this year, it was able to march up and down the field using a third string sophomore at QB and Mark Love on the sideline for 3.5 quarters. As soon as love came in the game, he scored-
If Prep can limit it's penalties (something Maranatha was unable to do), Prep will win going away.
I think Rio wins 21-0.
I look for a lower scoring time consuming RH Prep/Flintridge game on Friday. Both teams prefer the ground game and show proficiency in doing so. While these are small schools and don't have the depth of larger area talents it is a good game of the week choice as it features two area teams at the top of their league. Go Kares!
Lmao Thug Life
Blair's really had a great season and it's going to continue this Friday. GO VIKINGS!!!!
SM, you can do it! Your crowd is behind you! GO TITANS!
Good luck Monrovia. We're pulling for you boys.
