Monrovia may self-destruct as well. Look at that La Canada score. Must be bad coaching there as well.

"Blair was the old Blair tonight in crunch time"...funny how that happens when you finally play a team with a winning record.

I think they will win the rest of there games, they have great speed and that SM could hang with them 90%of the time impressed me, but I think with the great coach you have he will correct the punting and the pentlties by next week, I for one will be rooting for Blair.

Blair was the old Blair tonight in crunch time - horrible coaching decision and key penalties down the stretch. The question now is will they again self destruct against Monrovia? Are they headed for the playoffs or not? They are looking much more vulnerable now, particularly if they can't execute a simple punt.

Thats the game of football my friend, they were flat out played and out coached
tonight.

Blair down 26-21 scored a touchdown to go up 27-26 stupidly went for one going up 28-26 instead of going for two to try to go up 3. Then they jump offsides on 4 and 4 for San Marino giving them a free first down. Then they jump offsides again on the gw field goal to give them the try 5 yards closer. They botched the snap on a punt giving San Marino the ball on the 4 earlier in the game as well. Blair was the more talented team but self destructed big time.

MR DAWWG
SOUNDS LIKE A STORY OF SURVIVAL...

JV Update:
Despite 6 turn-overs in the first half, Monrovia's JV team got by 21-20 over LC's JV. Without the starring RB for the Wildcats and sloppy first 1/2...the Cats showed why they are 7-0. Some of these players are 17-0 with the previous season of 10-0. After LC scored a TD and the 2 point conversion late in the 4th quarter and recovering the on-side kick at the Monrovia's 40 yard line...MHS picked a pass at the 5 yard line with 40 tics away. Wow!! This is what FOOTBALL is all about.
Congrats to the staff and players.

Golden,
you are killing me with the summersault bit... :)
Blair 28 San Marino 20
Contain, contain, contain... If SM can contain, they will move the ball against Blair. If not, only in a circus could you see more summersaults.
Arcadia 28 PHS 14
Size matters and Arcadia seems to have a team of old. If the Apaches D can slow PHS, they should prevail.

its time for both the bulldogs and the apaches to PUT UP OR SHUT UP!

Huckster: What are you referring to?
Posted by: ScottG | October 19, 2007 12:47 AM
Why isn't Maranatha the game of the week?
Posted by: Anonymous | October 18, 2007 10:50 PM
Huckster, ur prediction of the Tussle is moronic. Every year u predict a victory for the dogs, and every year the dogs leave the bowl with their tales tucked. U remind me of another person that rode the short yellow bus in school which jus happens be ole GWB himself. U steer the course even though there are warning signs on the course that indicate danger. The Stangs are 2 much for the dogs. If u can't beat us join us. Oh, here is some kibbles and bits 4 dawg 87 style. What was ur record against the Stangs when u were at PHS. Let me help u 0-3-1, does this ring a bell. I will take care of u later St. Francis fan.

Huckster,
I don't know if you woke up on the wrong side of the bed but in the civilized world stay, many preach for a sportsmanlike sort of approach. People like you who do not support sportsmanship and class should not even be posting. I will not submit to your flawed statement, I am just trying to have the people post on here show some respect, despite whether they receive it from others. Be the better man.

BigA, Class? Hide inside your booty! War, is what it is! Class? Only to "Hoover"? We blowing yall out! Arcadia has no respect for Pasadena and we have none for them!
Posted by: Huckster!!!!!!!!! | October 18, 2007 9:31 PM
Scott, you didn't take that off talking about my son! But it's so cool! I'm Monster!
Posted by: Huckster!!!!!!!!! | October 18, 2007 9:28 PM
Whoever is posting, show some class about you. Calling people names is no way to represent yourself so if your a student and your going to write here anonymously, than write in a decent fashion. I don't want to see another kid from Arcadia to be doing that again. Carry yourself to a higher standard and let your play do your talking.

Let me understand this, da real cordae. You say Arcadia SUCKS, REALLY, REALLY SUCKS, and you have Pasadena only winning by 6 points, what does that say about Pasadena. They suck 6 points less?
You say Arcadia is going to get their rear ends handed to them. Six points doesn't sound like much of a rear-end kicking to me.
Posted by: Hal Lamaster | October 18, 2007 4:38 PM
arcadia really, really, sucks and they're going to get their rear ends handed to them tommorrow against the great PASADENA BULLDOGS 33-27 (coach B.Mcfee still has the beat receiving core in the state)

Blair / San Marino
Last week against TC, Blair drew first blood, scoring on an INT picked off in the flat. There is a lot of freelancing and undisicplined coverage happening in the defensive backfield..but the speed in those positions allows the coverage gaps to be shut down quickly. San Marino could either capitalize on this or get stung by it.
If San Marino's defense loses outside contain on Blair's left/right toss - it could be somersaults across the goal line aplenty.
Blair 35
San Marino 14
