san marino is underrated!!!
They won 3-1.
Maranatha lost in four games to (1st Place)Bonita. The Lady Minutemen started off slow but gained momentum with each game.
Congratulations on an awesome season. Three tournaments--placed 1,2, and 3. One MVP, five All-Tournament team nods. Nothing to sneeze at Minutemen!! Looking for a quality season next year with five starters returning.
Burroughs won easily.
Gabrielino won easily. No surprise.
top gun
where does annie kim play club ball?
I thought Ganesha beat Gabrielino the first time they played in the summer? Good job smack talking, I guess that's what I asked for. Ganesha is looking forward to playing aginst a classy and well coached team like Gabrielino and we hope it won't be easy no matter who wins.
Gabrielino beat Ganesha in the summer and will do it again easily.
Ganesha does do a nice job of self promotion though.
As far as I know, Annie Kim has not signed with Cal State LA. She is planning on going D. 1 or two a D.II school with a top educational program. I can't believe Gabrielino doesn't get more press in their area. The best 1st round matchup in all of the playoffs will be Ganesha (17-8) @ Gabrielino on Tuesday. Good luck to both G-High's! This blog is so tame compared to the SGV Tribune-we need more smack talking.
Did southwestern academy get drop out of the top ten?
Can anyone confirm Annie Kim is signed to Cal State LA? this must be a joke??
i agree.. the orlandini duo and condon get it done over there
flintridge sacred heart is soooooo gooood
Annie Kim is a very good player; definitely a standout but, come on, they played against a Rosemead team that is on par with most JV teams. This takes nothing from Annie on any other day but don't hype up today's kills. That's great news that Annie will stay close to home. We'll get to watch her play for four more years.
I hear that Annie Kim has signed with Cal State LA.
San Marino would not beat any of the teams in the top 5 and they'd lose to Pasadena.
Annie Kim of Gabrielino 34 kills in last two games.
MONSTER!!!
San Marino should be in the top 5
SM should be in the top 10. They beat gab during the pre-season and they just defeated South Pas. today.
most of the kids from burrough played at a certain club and most of the players from arcadia played at another club...maybe is where they got their trainings in the off season that made the difference
Arcadia Keep looking at the banner. The league is getting better and Arcadia v-ball is living off its reputaion. Its easy to win when you have all the talent. Its tough to win when the opponent is more talented and works harder.Still a good program but opponents are fearing them less and less. No leaders on the team that are willing to work. You just can't show up anymore.
