Boys and girls soccer: Time to talk tournaments

i see a lot of good players in the pasadena public high schools.......keep it up guys....i played for PHS in 1987....we didnt have uniforms,soccer balls,players didnt have cleats,but we had HEART!!!! every game we played it was like a final for us....
nobody believed in us not even the school just because we were a bunch of mexicans from the "barrio" and that season we went 6-0
but then they cancelled the team due to a stupid fight against keppel high....

their was a mixup on the schedules but the game is really the 14th. and their was no letter sent to the AD of PHS. and even is their was, the players were not going to have the game by way of the school,they are going to do it on their own. so for now plans are still on for the scrimmage after the season and wether or not the academy players will play is depending on the schedule of their games.it is up to them to play since it isn't an official game.but i believe if marshall really is what they say they are, they will play with the team they played with in season, just like phs will be doing,with no academy players.

tha whole scrimmage game between phs and marshall is not going to happen...
the sports director at marshall already send a letter to phs asking for a friendly game,but phs didnt accept....
so what does that mean???
PHS is probably afraid of facing the best team in pasadena....MARSHALL!!!!!

why is PHS vs monrovia on the 14th now?

that scrimmage between marshall and phs is a great idea. does it mean the ACADEMY players can play it or not

oh and just for everyone's information, the pasadena vs. monrovia game will be on the 14th,not the 10th. their is also a plan between the pasadena and marshall players to make a scrimmage game after the season is over on a neutral field and a referee.that way their is no more trash talking,we'll just play.

it would be great if they make a PASADENA ALL-STAR TEAM....
getting the best players from pasadena and taking them to competitions all around the san gabriel valley playing other all star teams...

i want respect for pasadena but let's just wait for some more games. and crespi vs. phs was a scrimmage, not an actual game. and do to an ineligible player for crespi, they have forfeited all their games up-to-date.but we will let our playing do the talking for us. we play monrovia on the 10th.

Did I read the comment right? Marshall coach is not going to be there, I guess they also scheduled a diving competion the same day. Marshall has good players to bad they had to resort to penalty seeking dives to score. The refs are eventually going to catch on to this style of coaching and playing and not believe them when they happen to be true penalties, remember don't cry wolf.

i think marshall vs st francis would have been better 2 or 3 years ago. both had better teams. and why is pasadena high always scared to play marshall.

well all i got to say is. .
we are 3-0 we beat temple city . . 6-3
this year pasadena high is looking good. .
we are planning on goin undefeated and we knoe mustangs wont get in our way/ . . we beat them last year so we kan do it this year wit a much stronger team. .

well al i got to say is you have to watch out for muir mustangs u cant under esttimate that team they have at least 5 or 6 seniors returning and have a solid defense. i predict that the mustangs are going to beat marshall this thursday and their going to take the leage tittle and tovar is going to get cracked. lol weak as pretty boy

Were the Marshall people really at the same game. The only goal Marshall got was a botched penalty call. But whatever I guess they were just following the coach plummers call that the only way they were going to score was to fall in the box and in spanish like no body on st francis can speak it. The refs helped Marshall also. St.FRancis got so many cards because they are such an agressive team. ya the score was 2-1 but a wins a win

Does Marshall have a swimming team? Most of their soccer players would be fantastic at it considering all of the diving that they do. Did I hear Coach Plummer yell out to the players that they should take a dive if they are in the box? Great coaching...

Marshall had st.fancis the score was 1-1 the whole intire game st. fancis had a lucky breack at the end.ppl thought that it was gunna be a blow out but actually st. fancis got a lession this game and learned not to under estimate marshall.

...not to mention girls waterpolo. It is the girls sport that requires, one might say, the most conditioning. (Track may have an argument) And, they play mostly in December and January.

As far as girls waterpolo goes, T, LC, and SP are the class of the RHL, but LaSalle may be the best in the area.

Marshall..had the best soccer team in the area..and STILL does. It should be a good game against st francis. 12/4/07 at 5:00 at St. Francis

Rio Hondo league has great teams but I think that Monrovia will take the league.

I would of loved to see marshall vs. st. francis last year. Ofcourse marshall had a great team unfortunately lost many players this year

marshall did have a great year last year lost alot of players, some key returning players will not be able to play this year due to some "Academy Team"...... So im predicting they will have a tough time against st. francis and will be a high score game on st. francis with the advantage

i think it is pasadena high's year to make some noise. they didn't do much last year, but the team is rebuilt and is ready to win the league title. with a solid defense, young but talented midfield, strong forwards, and a solid goalkeeper in David Flores, pasadena high will be winning the pacific league crown when february rolls around.
