Ok kiddies, I’m taking a page out of one of Fred’s old posts.

Since the football season came to a crashing halt in the West San Gabriel Valley, let’s look ahead at the All-Area teams.

Here’s the format of how the list was done last year. I’m putting last year’s list all the way to honorable mention.

You can list as many categories as your heart desires, or just the first team.

FOOTBALL: Then there were none

The West San Gabriel Valley’s football season came to a bitter end with all seven remaining teams suffering season-ending losses.
I want to thank everyone for a strong showing on the blog during the football season. It’s been a blast. Please continue to visit during basketball, soccer, baseball, softball and all of the other seasons.

Bishop Diego 45, Temple City 0 – Rams outmatched by Cardinals.
Cerritos Valley Christian 34, Blair 24 – A bitter end of the line for Vikings
Paraclete 23, Monrovia 20 – Wildcats take the No. 1 seed to the limit.

Northeast Division
St. Margaret’s 49, Maranatha 7 – Home cooking not enough for Minutemen.

Southeast Division
La Habra 59, San Gabriel 14 – Clock strikes midnight for Matadors.
