Talt is good and they certainly miss him. But give credit where credit is due. Flintridge is an awfully good squad that would be tough to beat with or without Talt. As far as your your three losses with Talt, you were down by 11 to Maranatha and 8 to Ontario heading into the 4th.

Talt was a two time All Prep All C.I.F. selection going into his senoir year. Poly was 16-3 with him and lost three games they were leading into the fourth. What could have been?

Congratulations to Prep on a well played game; however, it would have been interesting to see the result had Poly's A.J. Talt not been watching from the bench. Poly got absolutely hammered on the inside. Not quite sure Prep would have been as effective had Talt been manning the middle.

Prep played hard tonight and deserved the win.

by the way prep just killed poly by 15 points in league play tonight

The Blair Boy's Varsity Basketball team 12-11, 5-4, have come a long way from last year and their 0-10 season in league and three wins and a forfeit overall season in 06-07. These guys have pulled together to make it to the playoffs and deserve their ranking. I have not seen one write up on them in the Star News all season but finishing the year in the top ten is cool. Congrats to the Blair Vikings.
