La Canada beat Brentwood in basketball... definitely a grind-it-out game though.

who cares about maranatha this other teams are jv compared phs and cif did not look closely at their schedule they played tha best teams in da state , but thats ok its not where u start its were u finish
A 1pm start makes sense - Valley Torah I assume by their name is a Jewish school, and the sabbath starts are sundown on Friday - basically, they can't play between sundown Friday and sundown Saturday. Last year La Salle had a similar playoff situation, and played a game on a Saturday night.
I thought I would raise everyone's cultural awareness. Give Maranatha credit for accomodating the game time.
As hard as this is to believe, the Maranatha game is at 1PM on Friday.
