Agreed. The girls did a great job, particularly given the fact that they lost so many seniors from last year's Division IV championship squad.
The LCHS coach needs to be more on top of things, including the need to post scores and submit player recommendations to CIF on time!

It may have been a fast one by some coaches ,but the LCHS coach did not even post scores on Max Preps! I think the LaSalle girls should be honored they did better than any girls team in the SGV... AND they were not projected to even go to CIF..

You are right about that. La Salle was seeded as a wild card in CIF playoffs behind #2 seed St. Joseph, by the way. They were not second in League. My hat is off to them that they made it to the third round, but other deserving players were clearly left out of all CIF. Is Sal the Division IV coordinator? (Check out the comments on the Boys' Soccer blog to see what happened to the La Canada boys' team. Monrovia pulled a fast one on them.Unbelievable.)

Like i said, Sal Lopez is in the 'CLUB'!!!

La Salle and St. Joseph had identical 4-3-1 records in the Del Ray League behind 1st place Bishop Montgomery with a perfect 8-0-0 record. St. Joseph only had two players make all CIF.

La Salle placed 2nd in league.

Although LaSalle advanced in CIF play after placing third in League, it still is a little surprising that Lopez was able to place a whopping five players from the squad on the first, second and third teams, yet La Canada, which placed first in League, only has one player present on the list.

ARCADIAA...REPRESENT!

LA 84 is the group that took over the All-CIF selections in all sports. Sounds like a lumber company to me.

what is LA84?

You must admit, no one thought LaSalle would get to the 3rd round of CIF...Did any other SGV school do that! Let the girls have their honor.. I don't think the "club" had anything to do with it . I thought it was the coaches association...

I guess the La Salle coach belongs to the 'club'.

Carter Vettese and Alexa Weigand are both seniors.
