A day after the sad news of the death of his head coach Louie Madrigal, Rosemead's Adrian Marquez (130) enjoyed a solid day at the CIF State championships in Bakersfield Friday, advancing to the quarterfinals before losing by fall to Selma's Jose Mendoza. The senior is still alive for a medal.
