Apaches go 9-2 in league. Outstanding team win in extra innings. Rutherford and Smouse give up 1 earned run over 8 innings.
League title game vs CV next Friday

San Marino 5, La Canada 3. Still a chance with a win over South Pas next Tuesday, a San Marino loss to Monrovia Tuesday, then a classic showdown next Thursday between LC and San Marino--winner takes 3rd Place and a CIF spot. Go Spartans.....

Previous comment sounds a bit misguided. Unless you've seen Mary Star play a FEW games, your statments hold no weight. Unless you know something we all don't...sounds like you have it all figured out. Why don't you bash on Alhambra who lost to Schurr and South East?

La Canada 9 Monrovia 8 in 8 innings after Monrovia led 7-0. Go Spartans.
