Who: Carter Vettese
School: Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy
Grade: Senior
Position: Forward
Notable: Vettese was the leader of a talented Tologs squad and contributed in just about every way imaginable. Vettese led Flintridge Sacred Heart in goals with nine and assists with seven as the Tologs finished tied for second in the Mission League with Chaminade with 13 points. She was named to the All-Mission League first team and was selected to the All-CIF Division I second team. She scored two goals in a 4-0 win over La Salle on Dec. 27 at the Los Tacos Tournament and repeated the feat the following day in a 4-0 triumph over Crescenta Valley. Vettese had an assist in the final game of her high school career, a 3-2 loss to Dos Pueblos in the CIF-Southern Section Division I playoffs.
