BASEBALL: Maranatha rescheduled, San Marino to give it a go

Maranatha's game against Lancaster Desert Christian has been rescheduled for Saturday at Brookside Park. The game is officially scheduled for 4 p.m. The worst-case scenario would be if there's bad weather Saturday. Then the game would be played on Monday, yes Monday. What's bad about that is apparently the pitch counts would be applied to next week and not this week.
Stay tuned.

San Marino's game with Bishop Amat is still on after the coaches from both teams surveyed the field. I've been told, even though there's another front coming in, unless there's a major downpour, Game On.
I'd imagine Bishop Amat wants the game played today or tomorrow so Titans pitcher Nick Wilson only has three innings available to pitch.

Sometimes bad weather acts as an equalizer in other sports. I wonder if bad weather will bring the Lancers down some.
