It's interesting that the CIF-SS doesn't put out the awards anymore. Now it says don't contact LA84 directly, they're only a presenting sponsor, when it comes to softball and volleyball. I've sent out E-mails trying to get those teams. But there was a website that posted baseball, so here they are.

Any awards, besides all-league, are for the whole year. And Cabral was pulled early in the playoffs after giving up two runs (one unearned).
Or is this for the whole year? Not just the playoffs?
I want to know how Angel Cabral got "All CIF" for a losing effort in the first round of the playoffs...
Scott I thought the all-area teams come out today?
Soon
Hey Scott,
When does the Pasadena Star News Baseball Players of the year get announced?
Congrats to Poly Pitchers AJ Talt and John Michael Pennington. Great season guys!
Any suggestions Yawning, or are you just being negative? People used to consider All-CIF a big deal. I guess you're not one of them. Have a point and suggest something and I'll post it up. As far as the other awards, they've been put up on this blog since the beginning. Why the complaints now?
Is this a blog or just a bunch of polls and awards. There's no chitter-chatter anymore, just a couple boneheads on the football blogs going back and forth.
Yes, it's the artist formally known as the All-CIF teams.
Is this the all cif teams?
Here is the "how to" in terms of All-LA84 teams for baseball.
ALL LA84 FOUNDATION BASEBALL TEAMS

All CIF Southern Section baseball coaches (CIF-SS BASEBALL COACHES ONLY PLEASE!!!!)interested in nominating a player or players for the All-LA84 Foundation Baseball Teams please email Iran Novick at El Dorado High School INOVICK@aol.com and he will send you a nomination form to fill out and return.
Please direct all questions on this program to him and not to this office.
Golden, they're the presenting sponsor, but unless they change it, you'll have trouble finding them on their site. I've yet to crack the riddle. The funny thing is that the CIF site says to check the LA84 site for the past teams.
SG,
Sounds like neither organization is eager to be accountable for the other.
According to your comments, CIF makes the selections and forwards to LA84 (the presenting sponsor) who then creates some type of award structure? Is this the basic idea?
If you are not sure either - I understand - it may go back to the original Santa Monica non-profit food bank theory.
What about the catcher from south pasadena for D 5? John Adamson
