BASEBALL: What was the toughest league

The Rio Hondo League is the only league with every team from the area. The Del Rey League is tough because of Bishop Amat. The Mission, Almont and Pacfic were strong.

The Mission league the toughest league top to bottom. I know the Del Rey league represented well this year. Aside from Amat if you place any other team from the Del Rey league into the league they would not make play offs. The biggest difference is the depth of the rosters. Look at what Amat did to all the teams in the Del Rey league. It was rather easy. The Mission league teams are on par with Amat. St. Francis is usually on the bottom of the pack of the Mission league but seems to handle the SGV teams.

a few years ago 3 of the final 4 teams (semi finalist) were from the Mission League. This league has had 1 team in the semi's every year

Rio Hondo League has represented the SGVN with not only trips to the final game but A Championship trophy to boot. Monrovia has posted a phenomenal record over the last few years beating teams in every division and mostly all of the local teams in the area.

There is no debate (at least in 2008). It is the Del Rey league. In the semi-finals for Division V 3 of the 4 semi-finalists were from the Del Rey league - Bishop Amat, St. Paul, and Bishop Montgomery. When was the last time that every playoff team from a single league made the semi-finals?
