Cal State Northridge signs former St. Francis soccer player

Joseph Franco, a St. Francis 2007 grad and freshmen at CSUN, signed a national letter of intent to play for the Matadors this upcoming season.

Franco is an outside back and will add depth to the Matadors backline. The release also adds Franco played for Los Angeles Futbol Club, aka LAFC.

For those not in the know, LAFC is a very good club soccer team and recently played in the finals of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy about a month ago at The Home Depot Center.

The former Star-News first teamer led the Golden Knights last season to a 25-2-1 record.
