Accomplishments: Just call him Mr. Everything. In leading Muir last week to a 16-6 victory over Diamond Ranch, Thomas played just about every position and was very effective. He played quarterback, wide receiver, safety, kicker and even returned punts. He threw for a touchdown, ran for a touchdown and also had a big interception. He threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Tyree Mills to score the game’s first points and later after scoring from 2yards out, he ran in the two-point conversion.

HONOR ROLL

*Chase Rettig, La Salle: Rettig completed 18 of 37 passes for 237 yards and had two touchdowns in a tough 21-18 loss against Village Christian.

*Frank Sotelo, Bosco Tech: The senior running back rushed for 192 yards on 27 carries and scored two touchdowns in the Tigers’ 28-14 victory over Contreras.

*Nick Bueno, Monrovia: The sophomore QB had an impressive varsity debut, completing 10 of 14 passes for 169 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions.

*Todd Golper, Arcadia: The UCLA-bound linebacker/running back rushed for 100 yards and scored two touchdowns in the Apaches’ 41-27 victory over Monrovia.

*Josh Demuske, Pasadena: The senior quarterback completed 9 of 16 passes for 114 yards and a touchdown in the Bulldogs’ 30-19 loss to Arroyo Valley.

*Jordan Canada, Duarte: In the Falcons’ 33-12 loss to Ayala, Canada scored on a 97-yard kickoff return.

*Brian Rambeu, Arcadia: Returned the opening kickoff 96 yards for a score to put the Apaches on top early.

*Kishon Sanders, La Salle: Wide receiver had eight receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown in a loss to Village Christian.

*Chris Carino, Monrovia: Wide receiver caught five passes for 72 yards and two touchdowns.

*Josh Acosta, Gabrielino: The junior tight end caught a 30-yard pass from quarterback Anthony Zuniga with 20 seconds left in the first half to put the Eagles on top, 6-0. Acosta scored another TD on a 10-yard run in the third quarter to lead Gabrielino to a 12-0 upset over a loaded La Puente team.
