Sorry man, I disagree totally. The Apaches looked better prepared, not necessarily more talented.

Don't expect Maddox not to adjust, drill and improve the lowlights of his teams performance. This is game one, and was a special teams ignited win, backed by a very intelligent game plan from Coach D, which his kids executed with gusto.

Golper did his part on both sides of the ball, as did the Arcadia secondary, in preventing the big play. I agree with NY, there was blind faith that the Cats might walk on the field looking seasoned and efficient, due to Miraculous Maddox just driving along Duarte Road. In six weeks, TC won't see this same team, trust me.

Goldenarm,

The bad news is that I think what was effectively a squib kick was our attempt at an onside. We clearly have some work to do all the way around. This is not passing league. This is not the campaign trail. This is where the rubber hits the road.

TC Pride,

The good news for Monrovia is that we have many more weeks until we play TC and will undoubtedly be a much improved team.

Monrovia................... OVERRATED!!!!!!!!

They are not as good as last year. A blowout loss by Arcadia, they definitely will not win league. Watch out for the Rams!!!!!! And the Titans as second place.

42
13

I don't think anyone saw this coming
Coach D knows how to prep his kids

Damn...looks like Arcadia pounding the run, Golper just scored
Can't wait to hear someone's recap
Monrovia will bounce back and get better week by week

MIQUEL...loving this, a great bonus next time would be a posting of rosters...so we can figure out who is who....

TCC, Scott would've treated you the same way (Actually it's visual editor Tim Berger's idea), but I left. We did do a live game from our Tribune/Star-News All-Star Basketball Games though.
