Tom S, Rio Hondo Prep/Maranatha is a nice game. There's no way my friend that it's bigger than Rosemead/South Hills. I'd put San Gabriel/San Marino as a bigger game as well having covered last year's battle and seeing how big the crowd was. But RHP/Maranatha is an outstanding small school game. The burgers are better at RHP.

How can you miss the upcoming small school game of the week next Friday the 10th at Minuteman field.
Rio Hondo Prep against Maranatha. RHP has been the giant killer so to speak 2 out of the last 3 years by shutting out the Minutemen and racking up huge wins and last year Maranatha squeaked out a slim 7 to 0 victory over the Kares team. Look’s like this year’s game could be a 4 and 0 Maranatha playing a 2 and 1 RHP team. Might be the best local combined teams records playing that night.
P Finchamp, where are you?

Fred, Miquel

Most said was true.

What was not true is the belief we cannot run the ball.
The O-line is basically the same group from JV last year, dudes who week after week had 200 plus yd rushers behind them. Sutton., O'Malley and Lumary are all bigger and much stronger than last year, thanks to some serious weight room time. Swarz when stepping in, is a technician and tough as nails. The only difference is at tackle, where Mr. Omelette at 6'5 and 270 holds down the spot. He can run block as well.

Once the Rams staff fully decide they are going to establish a ground game and stick to it, this group will step to the plate. The focus has not been on nard-nosed running, Miquel touched on this in his observations.

Fred, this group can move the ball without a Broadnax in the backfield. We have 3 capable backs and time will show this as enough to get the job done. If not, it is crow enchiladas for me.
