I like your design very much. I would like to find out where may I get such layout for my blog?
Hope you don't mind if I just say this in responce to your post (no reason other than it made me smile!) :
In a world without walls and fences who needs Windows and Gates?
Of course you're right! For sure.
Err that was unusual, my opinion got eaten. Ok , enough fooling I needed to say cheers for the update.
@ Stang 03,
98% of the kids that grow up in Pasasdena are blood cousins or play cousins!
Goldenarm, believe me, it was great news for us.
Its good to see Muir in the Navy Blue and Gold, not the bright Michigan Yellow... Just thought I throw that random comment out there.
Best thing about the Blair game for Blair fans has to be the news that injuries were not serious. Even for a TC fan, I find that news to be excellent.
Anon's,
Thanks for the 411!
1. Maranatha is good
2. im lying
3. why would st. francis leave the number 1 spot after losing to 2 D1 powerhouses?
sstress--if you stay in your current residence your son has to sit out a year if he transfers. if you move though, your son can play for the school in your new boundary or the school of choice in that district, if that district has open enrollment. if he goes to a private school, you still have to move to a new residence. the only way you can transfer schools without moving, or a hardship, is anytime before the start of a kid's 10th grade year. even then, you can only transfer once, if you transfer twice (like that QB from Monrovia/Amat/Charter Oaks) than you have to sit out a year also.
long story short, just move if you really want your son to play at another school. for some people it's worth it but for some it isnt
hope that helps.
Ouch,
I hope you dont think muir is a big school or big team. The school is under 1200 kids and 32 players on the football team. And yes they will blow MHS out the water ! Muir has controlled pacific league in the last couple of years. Mhs has seen real speed yet!
Anon: Contact any AD and they will explain the rules to you. Typically if you get out by your sophomore year might be early enough, MIGHT BE. Typically though you do have to sit out, one school hop is not bad, two or three is terrible.
MHS, we have our few that are cocky but most people know where we stand. Small school, small teams and programs. There is no delusion that Muir would kill us. Stay humble until you have a CIF championship under your belt is my say. They have not won a league title in 10 years. Don't get ahead of yourselves boys.
Golden Arm - I feel the exact same way. Even when it's a home game, we don't get a lot of support. It was horrible to look at our sidelines at TC and only see about 30 people there, if that many.
Maranatha has a football team?
Oops, that was me posting below
A question:
my son will continue at Blair because he has no choice if he wants to play his Junior year? Don’t get me wrong, my son does not want to leave Blair regardless how good or bad Blair does, but as a parent I wonder …
Is this true that if he wants to change schools he has to sit out a year? However, if he attends a private school that this “rule” does not apply?
Also, how is that viewed by coaches that football players “hop” around to play on other schools?
feedback is appreciated
Stangs03,
Yea all of his friends are at muir.
@ !stang!
ok, yea I looked him up on scout.com. guess i should have done that before posing the question. If he came to Muir, it just wouldn't be fair... i'm hoping he gets that scholarship to SC. Has he ever had any ties to Muir?
yea he is a junior! He can be a stang too! If he signs after this season is over , why not come be a stang! he would have his scholarship already.
Is D.Riley over at St. Franny a Senior or Junior?Somebody on the other post made a statement to the effect he was a Junior. Didn't know him and Crockum from Alhambra were cousins...
Looking at the RHL won /loss records it is important to remember preseason opponents.
San Marino
Gabrellino, La Salle, Hoover
Monrovia
Arcadia, Duarte, Rosemead
Temple City
Alhambra, San Gabriel, Rosemead
With 3 weeks to go, things could get unwound in the RHL. Or, San Marino could go on and run the table. No telling.
I know it is early, but at this stage it looks like two area teams could do some damage in CIF.
The Mustangs and the Rosemead Panthers.
The Mead need only eliminate the turnovers that seem to haunt them. They are so good the turnovers have not killed them in area play, but this would not be the case in playoff matchup.
Muir is on a serious roll with serious talent. Should this hold, it could be they would need to beat themselves to lose. Scary, Halloween scary.
Down the road,
whomever emerges from the RHL is going to need to play better fball to go beyond round 1.
Glad to see the vocal support for Blair here on line, but where was it during the TC game - in the visitor stands?
Blair Fans were almost outnumbered by San Marino scouts.
Among those scouts were familiar faces.
Mustangs looked pritty impressive on friday! must give them the nod for the #1 spot but CV is on the Horizion take care of them and the Pacific belongs to Muir by playoff time Clipper and Dunlap should be back and ready to go on fresh legs.
The only way Muir!could play Riley and those other guys on the team is if muir went over there on tuesday cuz we all no!!!!!! Bonds doesnt have enough heart to play Muir on a friday nite.
lol. wont Maranatha and Muir play.
Muir #1. SF #1-A.
Maranatha won their homecoming game 51 to 0 against marshall. That's 7 wins in a row for that team
man lets be real with ourselves. if muir lost 2 games will they even be considered for #1 spot? they deserve it they workhard just like any other school give them there just due.
