Since the Stangs and the Knights can't get it together to play. Why don't the Stangs try to play some or one of the other team from the Mission League to see where they stand?

Just letting everyone out there know that I as a parent of #55 Fernando Aguilar Jr have never wrote anything on these blogs except to Thank Mr. Golper for the comments that he made about my son. But about player of the year that's not up to me to decide that should be up to the Pacific League coaches. This will be my second and last time ever writing on this blog again.

it has been that way a long time - it is kind of a mob mentality.

At times the origins are somewhat based in fact and relate to competitiveness as they see it. Other times it is sheer BS. Sometimes they just won't acknowledge WSGV teams as worth a crap. It used to bother me - does'nt anymore.

Even when the Stangs whacked DR, out came the "academically ineligible" comments, the "fluke" comments, etc. A couple of bloggers gave a nod of respect and recognition...but mostly not. I would say the Stangs STILL hover on the edge of respectability on the Trib blog...again, in general, not to indict those who have clearly said otherwise.

I saw and heard what you are feeling first hand last year at La Puente - when the home crowd smirked and laughed when the PA announcer introduced TC and their ho-hum Won/Loss record. After the Rams smoked La Puente on their home field, the laughter died...but the cheap shots go on nonetheless....season after season.

We need to play more games cross-valley.

But overall Muir's Defense is winning all of their games for them. So I think Fernando Aguilar's stats speak for them self. He is the leading tackler for Muir and he is also leading his team in sacks (5).
