I would like to start my own blog one day. This was a really nice blog that you made here. Keep up the success :P
Nice blog here! Also your website loads up fast! What host are you using? I wish my website loaded up as fast as yours lol
The NY Times has covered this concept. You called out a less noticed perspective. I resonate with your focus on this. Amazing point!
what happened to # 95 at schurr
Pretty good post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your blog posts. Any way I'll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you post again soon
Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass' favor.

Come on Keppel people, let's win a game before posting stuff. I know, anyone could have a bad decade.
GO KEPPEL
AZTECS FOREVER
WOOO
BECHMANN AND PENA !
MAN KEPPEL ROCKS
arthur brown played for the Rosemead Rebels
arthur brown played for the rosemead rebels
brown played rb at east la..
Those 2 kids from keppel got talent. Bachmann and Pena. Those two kids carried that team. They could start at most of the other schools in the areas at their positions .Both of them are jrs so watch out for them next year. Really watch out for these to kids if keppel had more talent like then u might have heard of these to kids. But keppel doesnt so they go unnoticed. Anyway congrats to those kids they played hard every game.

I agree, but as long as your doing well education wise there are still many open doors for you in the world. As far as it goes San Gabriel always had great quarterbacks but Valdez has to be among the shortest. Steven Gonzales 6'2, Frankie Bernard I believe 5'9. Saile Ramirez 6'0. But as far as being a student athlete Isaac fits the bill. It seems like every SG quarter back has gone to the all stars....that's when you know SG has a great passing game, sorry for the long comment im bored lol! =]
JFMatador,
Anthony Brown was a scatback. He is playing slot receiver in college I believe. As a quarterback, Valdez would not be able to see over 6'5 linemen. Trust me, even 6'1-6'3 quarterbacks have trouble with it. A 5'7 quarterback would not be able to do it.
It's not a knock on his ability as a football player, just the realism. He is a fantastic football player, but in college, its a whole other level.

It's true or said the eye test mainly concerns physical features, BUT his talent wont go unseen either. I hope these players just don't get cocky because I seen this first hand and it just makes you look stupid when you get your asses kicked by Alhambra. Nonetheless it will be another exiting year for all almont league teams...heck maybe they will all go as far as the rio hondo league did, but on our side of the playoffs. Good luck next year =]....and fear no Moor :p
Jfmat,
Moors in 05? and how many b4 that and after that?ha ha
Just worry about finding some wr's for Valdez next year
or It'll be a long season for a "Real Contender",
and by the way A Brown was a rb not a Qb big differance,
and if AB was 5'9 he would have gone anywhere in the country but he's not...that's my point about the "Eye Test"!
justafan
heck yeah it's a great rivalry, but as for valdez's height...look at Anthony brown, if you got talent you got a shot at anything. But hopefully he grows soon, I doubt he'll be 6 feet but w/e. But FEAR NO MOOR I got it from the last time we beat you undefeated moors in 05. But as of right now I'm looking more forward for SG and Schurr rivalry the real almont league contenders!
JFmat,
If valdez was 6'0 he would have a good shot...
It would even be difficult for him to play Jc ball at qb.
It sad to say but these recruiters go by the "EYE" test and he just doesn't pass it.He's a great HS Qb!
And by the way,"FEAR NO MOOR"? you say that every year
but it's a good rivalry anyways and you'll have plenty to fear next year!
Congrats to all players who worked hard all season long, to those who worked out on their own and to those who came out and showed discipline during spring ball and especially to those who stuck it out through HELL WEEK!!! You Matadors are the best group of young men that I have been around in a long time. For all you Seniors, you will be missed. We shared great moments after the games and throughout the season. keep up the good work and continue your education and become all you can be. Make the Matador Boosters proud!!!
GO MATADORS 2008-2009!!!!!!!!
WOW Isaac is going somewhere, disregarding his height, he's very talented and a great student. As far as Frankie Villalobos his size is great...but not as thick because of wrestling (which he's doing great btw) I guarantee this kid is going places as well with his GPA being over 4.0 all the time. Arthur brown will be a heck of a running back for next season. With only a couple studs (marcos villalobos, and most of stud senior linemen *excluding rudy gastelum*) leaving there is going to be competition over those positions. 09 will be all SG! it's time for redemption! Fear no moor!
Hey Miguel, i was wondering when you get an all cif list for any of the sections, Pacific, Mid Valley, etc?
Hey Miguel, i was wondering when you get an all cif list for any of the sections, Pacific, Mid Valley, etc?
Golden,
I agree w/ you on VP...he is only a 10th grader but to me he was by far probably the best all-purpose player in the Almont. No worries he will get his next year.He will be an explosive player next year. The kid is just a FOOTBALL PLAYER!
I am surprised not to see Peko, the quick scatback from Alhambra. Not sure on his stats, but with the ball in his hands, he is one elusive dude
Some leagues have certain rules as to who makes all league. I've heard of some leagues where coaches are not allowed to nominate their own players and have to have at least one player from each school. I would assume that the assistants or athletic director from Pasadena would have a say in the selections.
Sorry that was me asking below
Miguel
I have a question that maybe you can do some research on. Since Phs doesn't have a coach at this moment and all-league is based on the coaches voting. Who would represent pasadena if any of our players were up for all league or their names were to be thrown in for consideration?
