I typically don’t respond on web-sites nevertheless you boast a little first-class comprehensible article.

Took me moment in time to look at every one of of the comments, except I in actuality enjoyed the editorial. It proved being in truth obliging to me plus I am optimistic to each and every one the commenters here! It’s commonly pleasant whenever you be able to not just be informed, but in addition entertained! I am constructive you had pleasant writing this write-up.

I virtually spilled my coffee soon after seeing th is do the job. Wow!

How d isappointing! With just a few exceptions I sense really let down by what you call the top and worst of 2009. With all the exception of Melbourne is logo just about all of the remaining I'd be ashamed to set in my portfolio had I designed them. There yet again I did notso I can breathe a sigh of relief.

This is good info! Where else can if ind out more?? Who runs this joint too? Keep up the good work :)

I agree with your thoughts here and I really love your blog! I've bookmarked it so that I can come back & read more in the future.

I am extremely impressed with your writing skills and also with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it's rare to see a nice blog like this one these days.. :)

In conclusion, disagreeing with this particular remark to any degree might possibly be censorship, that is conventional for both you and your misdefined 19th-century agenda.

one more week of girls soccer. what we gonna do?
it looks like last week is very important for everyone in the top 10. teams who will win league for sure are
FSHA, Maranatha, Alverno. the rest we have to wait until next week.

Wannabee "Tigersfan"......Cry me a River. SP dominated that game. And that goal was hardly offsides; on top of that there weren't even any cheerleaders. Geez

WAHHHHHHHHH!

I forgot to apologize for the fact that our goal should have been disallowed for a forward that was offside by 2 yards (easy to see on a football gridiron). Thank goodness that the A/R was watching the cheerleaders and not the game!

Glad to let you all know that Alverno beat Westridge 1-0 today. Alverno dominated the whole game and had about 25 shots compared to Westridge's 7. So, in response to Spectator doubting the strength of Alverno because of its weak schedule, you are a bit misguided.

Wow! Things got interesting in a hurry in the RHL. SP jumped into 2nd, 1/2 game behind LC. SM knocked into 3rd by 1/2 game by streaking Monrovia, tied with TC for 4th, both just 1/2 game behind SM. Five teams within 1-1/2 games of the leader, which quickly lost "control of the RHL." Whether these teams all belong in the top five or the bottom five of the poll, today proved that they belong together.

Point Proven

South Pasadena 1 La Canada 0

The RHL Title is up in the air now most likely between just San Marino, La Canada, and South Pas. With La Canada still having a slight advantage. I agree with RHL fan in the fact that it will be a wild finish.

Spectator:
I also agree that a tie against Temple City doesn't look too good on the Tigers record. However, like Sparta said South Pas beat Monrovia 2-1.

This is Sparta:
South Pas does rely too much on one player to score, however today they put more players up front throughout the whole game and had significantly more shots on goal then La Canada did. Those shots also came from about 4 different players. Maybe this new philosophy of "our best defense, is a good offense" (which I agree with after watching alot of the games) will stick. Also, I know La Canada was missing a key player, but a win is a win.

Good luck to all the teams in RHL.

Who knows...you could be right. However, a loss to San Marino today puts the 4th, and final nail in Monrovia's coffin.

RHL Fan said:

We'll see how the dust settles in the RHL in a couple weeks or so. It could be a wild finish. I say watch out for Monrovia! They have something to prove and could go on a 5 game winning streak in the second half of the season.

South Pas beat Monrovia in their first meeting 2-1

This is Sparta said:

I wish I could agree with Tigerfan but South Pasadena's offense is a one girl show, and when teams are successful cutting her off from the midfield the Tigers can't do anything offensively.

In the first game with LC, I am pretty sure that Tara was injured and LC didn't let them out of their own half for the entire first half of their 1-0 loss. South Pas may only have had 3 or so shots on goal the entire game.

Spectator said:

Tigerfan. Personally, I agree with you and think that SP is certainly a better team than say....Flintridge Prep. If you're asking "where is the love?" the answer may very well be that you guys tied Temple City and got beat by Monrovia.

Tigerfan said:

Although South Pasadena is no longer the team to beat in the RHL, the lack of notice/ respect from the Star News this year is a little puzzling. They should be at least 8. or 9. on the rankings. They have played 4 of the "top" 10 teams on that list and have a record of 1-1-2 (not dominant but respectable). A win early on vs. Westridge, A well played tie vs. La Salle, a league opening 1-2 loss vs. La Canada and most recently a hard fought tie @ San Marino. Keep an eye on them in the second half of league play as it begins this Friday @ La Canada. That'll either prove my point or prove me wrong. Good luck Tigers!

Congrats to FSHA on a huge win. Way to go!!!

Just wanted to update you on Arcadia's record. They are currently 12-4-2...(with 3 losses against D-1 beach schools) not sure where you are getting your info with the 5-5 record?

Soccer Mom said:

FSHA won 1-0 over Chaminade. They are still #1 and deserve to be in this league. Alverno has come a long way and are doing well. Arcadia still has it but has struggled some - and Flintridge Prep although good isn't have a great season.

It's winding down - best to all the teams.

WOW said:

Arcadia should be #4 better team than San Marino.
FSHA vs Chaminade would be a great game but i have a feeling Chaminade will win. second round is the key for getting your team ready for playoffs. so far i am enjoying the girls soccer this season.

GSFan said:

I agree that FSHA should still be #1 even with their recent loss to HW, but where are the comments about their first loss in League? I've heard that Chaminade is now healthy and itching for tonight's rematch as well.

You could argue that even if they lose to Chaminade tonight they should still be #1. But maybe not.

Spectator said:

The top half seems about right to me. But

10) Flintridge Prep at .500 being in the top 10?...puhleeze. South Pas is better than they are.

9) Alverno beating up "The Mission of the Little Sisters of the Poor" every week is hardly news. Let them play some tough teams on a consistent basis, deal with the injury problems that come out of that grind and do well against quality competition and then they can be a top 10 team.
