March Madness: Take that, President Obama!

Well, so much for thinking President Obama knows what he's talking about. I'm almost certain the Secret Service, CIA and FBI will come for me moments after this publishes for sticking it to our beloved president. But the truth of the matter is Mr. Obama was wrong as were the many pundits who picked UCLA to lose in the first round. Let it be known: Mr. Obama went 11-5 in his first round predictions and I went 14-2. Don't believe me? Click here to check out my bracket on ESPN.com ... Maybe I should get offered a Cabinet post. Hey, I pay my taxes! Now, all we need is for USC to lose and I'm all set. It's not too late for yall to jump on the Bruins bandwagon and ride them all the way to the Final Four. Go Bruins!

Miguel, I guess The President was right.
Miguel - my condelensces to you about the Bruins loss.
WE ALL KNOW that Migual won't root for the Trojans - but I gotta say that like their chances vs. Michigan State on Sunday.
USC is 9-0 this season with their full compliment of players. Simmons has really played solid "D" and the combo of Gibson/Derozan are the hottest front court duo in the nation right now.
Miguel:
So, how far did you have to jog to cool off? Well we still have the Trojans that you can cheer on tomorrow

nope... just someone who knew they would get blown out today.
Our beloved President??? Who is that??
Who cares who Obama picked anyway. He's got more important things to worry about like stealing money from people who worked hard to earn it so he can give it away to people who are lazy, freeloaders.
VCU needed that game to go on for a few more minutes and they probably would have blown UCLA out. I am a UCLA fan, but when I saw the last 12 minutes of that game I was on the edge of my seat the whole way hoping UCLA could hang on, because VCU had all of the energy.
UCLA seems to play to the level of their competition, hopefully they will step it up for 'Nova.
eagleball,
you sound like a trojan fan.
It's a home game for nova and bruins shouldn't even be playing as VCU had opportunities and couldn't finish- all bruin fans should be thankful they get to hang around for another game
VCU has several NBA'ers including Maynor and their big man who is 6'10 with a 7'7 wingspan. That team would probably beat most teams in the tournament. UCLA was up by 12 and had several possesions of 5 point swings where the refs blew foul calls with Jrue Holiday and Alfred Aboya driving to the rack, getting hit with a lot of body, and no call. Leading to 3 on 2's and swings to the corners for big 3 pointers.
UCLA has their spurts and if they ever put together a complete game, they can compete with anyone and beat anyone. But, they have yet to do that.
...or I can just go jogging....
Miguel:
You might want to stock up on some food and drink so you can hold out in your apartment until your angry mood subsides.
Just found out UCLA is playing at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning. So much for painting the town red tonight. I'll either be in a very good mood all day tomorrow after UCLA wins or be very upset for a while if UCLA loses. I believe in the former.
Miguel:
Have you started breathing again? You should have taken Dad of 3 up on steaking you the $100.00 for a bet. That 17 footer didn't miss by much at the buzzer
Sorry to say but doubt you'll be playing after the 2nd round. Can't see UCLA getting by Villanova
Sorry Man
Yeah, I agree a 1 point victory over the 11th seed sends up more red flags than need be....
They don't seem to have turned it up another notch like the UCLA teams of the past.
Sad to say, but I believe they will be headed back home after sat.
Hold on sporty let's see what happens tomorrow against "The Nova". If UCLA wins that one then you can pop off. Don't get me wrong I am a UCLA fan and want them to do well but a 1 point victory over Virginia Commonwealth sends up more red flags to me that say Saturday will be the end of the road.
They won by 1 point to the 11th seeded team in the region, big whoop.
