One morning this week, grab your pen and some pan dulce and head over to Duarte to figure this out. Too much conflicting info. On the ride back you can swing by TC, take a look at the new Sasquatch family Coach White has assembled, including Conan the Barbarian/Death Row inmate #1776532 asst coach.... and then inquire "where the hell is the Offensive Coordinator".
Leaving TC, you can swing down to Casa Del Rey, meet the nurse, snag a marg, some chips and a couple carnitas tacos. Wave goodbye to the nurse, head for the PSN barn, stopping at PHS to see what McFarland is up to and what kind of beef is at the water trough in Bulldogland.
Now you have 3 good stories and some pantalones that are pretty tight due to Carnitas overload. All in all a good day of journalistic endeavor.

Amazing when you think SG and Arroyo have already met in early April for a 7 on 7 passing scrimmage....while other schools and teams are still in the process of deciding when to hold practice....

I don't think that the administration is sending out these so-called hate letters to these schools. It's someone more sinister than that. How would a schools administration take the time to do such a thing. Has anyone ever looked at the Falcons alum or an outside source to see who's really behind sending these letters? I just don't by that an administration would be so focused on tearing these kids down like that. Everyone knew from the outset that a new coach would be put in to play so chances are that these kids already had their minds made up after their original coach (Crutchfield) was fired that they were looking elsewhere to either get a better education or to play football. But to send hate mail to the opposing schools is ludarcris and very unethical, whoever the culprits are.

Duarte administration is sending these letters out making it hard to transfer. it's sad, i went to Duarte i would not send my child there. i would not be surprised if the team folded this coming season let alone win a game. i know that this letter crap and phone call stuff has happened. I can no longer support a school that handles situations in this matter.

Who are "ALL" the students. How many kids actually have left the program and school?

If this is truth and not rumor, and such negative letters are being sent to transfer schools, this means you have written evidence of administrators performing badly. Why not take this evidence and discredit those who sent it??

Is Canada leaving simply because the belief is Duarte will suck in 2009? Or is it just the opportunity to play at SHills? I am wondering if there is some risk CIF will find Canada ineligible to play?

One thing for sure, Tip has proven he can coach, and win. However, losing core athletes is not going to make things easier for Sanders, or for those athletes that remain at Duarte.

Duarte administration turned its back on it's team and community. The new Principal caused these issues with his good old boy plan. Now Duarte high is sending letters to schools disparaging all the students who transfered as trouble makers and thugs, regardless of their academic and behavioral records. Adults attacking students as a form of payback is ridiculous. The administration got what they wanted by getting rid of Crutchfield and trying to bring in an assistant from the new principals old school. That didn't work out so now their attacking the kids. Pathetic.

It seems like no one from Duarte even cares. Not one reply from a SUPPORTER??? have you turned your back on your team.
