Meeting of the two minds: Melendez, Stags03 meet

| | Comments (15) |

Forgive my late start to the week. But before I go on to post anything else about softball and baseball I am compelled to tell my fellow football bloggers what went down this weekend. As you know, there are some real faithful bloggers here, and they're usually found during the football season. There's the Mayor Goldenarm who always has insightful notes anything related Rams football and football, too. There's also our buddy The Stang Fan who knows all Muir. And who can forget Huckster? (I know, I'm trying to forget, too) There's also our buddy Stangs03, which brings me to this post. I was out Saturday night with some friends at night spot in Alhambra. As I walk up to the waitress to order a drink someone extends their hand to shake my hand. He calls me by my first and last name. Says it's a pleasure to meet him. He says he's a big fan of the blog. I'm flabbergasted he recognizes me, but then comes the shocker: "I'm Stangs03." I was just amazed. We talked about football, the April Fool's joke and trying to figure out the identities of Goldenarm and The Stang Fan, but to no avail. It was a meeting of two minds, alright.

Hey, I just wanted to write that page is not working correctly with IE 6

Great article, I wonder how you are doing, that you please go to write such good articles. Maybe with time and in my blog will have similar information.

I wonder if we all are so critical in everyday life, or just so on this blog?

In my opinion, I disagree with you, if only because the views of older people are much different than ours, but definitely not worse.

That article is so interesting and makes a very nice image in my mind. That is very much helpful in nominating the board of directors.

I do not believe I've seen this depicted in such a way before. You actually have made this so much clearer for me. Thank you!

St. Louis Rams jerseys is very beautiful.

FB Einstein,

You make an interesting point - without even trying.
But.....I think the new TC crew is too smart to start commiting to a spread - with not an experienced arm in sight. We were blessed last year with a QB nearly incapable of mental mistakes, who had 1 fumbled snap exchange in an entire season, and not a single broken play I can recall. No reverse pivots to the wrong hole, no blown cadence, not even a sweep toss behind the runner.
It is too early to worry about it. TC will find the right guy to call signals. With the passing league schedule we have - there will be plenty of exposure time.
Whatever the strategy or alignment is - our success will come from running behind the same studs on the O-line we had last year - and forcing teams to stop that attack. A D-line either in "read" or backpedaling does not pressure a QB...making for a happy pocket and easier completions.

I think I know who GA is, but I'll keep it to myself.

I heard TC had its brand new highly experienced coaching staff on the field Monday. Apparently they where implementing offensive and defensive game plans. Heard the new OC is bringing in the spread. Didn’t hear about the D. Any word on who’s going to play QB?
