The decision by La Salle officials is truly amazing!

Three years ago La Salle baseball players were walking the Las Vegas strip after 11 PM. Two years ago the La Salle baseball team played with most of the team hung over from the drinking the night before and LOST. Last year you had parents being told by this same Coach to keep their sons at home because they disagreed with his methods. And this year, 2009, you have the same Coach suspended for speaking to a La Salle Player in an inappropriate manner. Is there a pattern here or what?

When will the La Salle officals wake up and see what kind of a professional (or not) this Coach is?

The kid was all butt hurt because every year the playerss vote on a senior to induct into the hall of fame at la salle and he didnt get it. So he was whining telling the coach he deserved it and he told the coach he wasnt pitching.

Come on Truth...the kid refused to pitch because he couldn't get his way. So, are you a player on this team, if so then the level of subterfuge is insidiously dangerous to any coach's program. In fact if you feel this way about the coach, then walk away. No one will miss you away. What player gives up a chance to start in what could be his final start of his high school days? Oh, you said to give another player a chance. That should be the coach's call not the player's call. Why have coaches, just let the players make the decisions and play the game. They could all be player-managers. Of course players should have team goals and players should love the game. Protesting a decision by the coach is neither a goal or showing love for a pure sport. You mentioned BS in your response. Well, the story you are attempting to weave is in the purest form of BS, but again, why let the truth (pun intended) get in the way of a perfectly good story.

kids should have morals and when a player asks to give up his position so his other teammates who havent seen the playing field can pitch, and he takes a question the wrong way so he runs a player down and blames the whole season on the player and not himself where he made multiple huge mistakes and then the player finally says im not going to pitch (never declined to play), yea i investigated have you?, no wait you didn't, you never asked the kid what happened, but you asked agaganian, did you know that the administration did the investigation of it by asking all the other players and they found enough evidence to suspend him. yea fine im blaming the player yea and the player should go in the game and apologize... see that is bs you guys have no idea what you are talking about agaganian does not know what he is doing except for the fact that he knows how to talk a good game and lie. He just whined like a little girl making him the victim and when la salle felt threatened they gave him back his lollipop he just smiled and skipped off. All of his players loved the game, he just ruined it for them playing mind games and made bad decisions. See if i was such a good coach like agaganian, after having problems with multiple players, why would you want to stay at la salle? its just ego or i guess he wants to finish what he has created, but that is neverending. hey if love for the game is most important agaganian hasnt created that either. most of the players by the time after spring break want to get it over. playoffs should be a goal for every team or we should just sit down and play cumbia, seriously though you just talked about baseball preparing you for life and then you go and say that, Players play baseball for the fun of it, if they didn't how could they last at least a full season due to the fact there is more to life than baseball. These players are there for the right reasons, for the love of the game and to play their best so they have a chance at winning. maybe i will just change my name to logic. speak when you have knowledge of the subject, yes players should always listen to your coaches, but there are circumstances and that was one where the player was right and if he wasnt he would have been suspended as well

I think you need to sober up and quit your babbling.

Truth or Lie.
Truth speaks to topics that he is not aware of. High school athletes can not tell coaches that they are not going to play, if not injured, when requested by the coach. In all walks of life the boss (coach in this instance) gives orders that if not obeyed puts the refuser at risk of losing his/her job. If La Salle is a college preparatory school, then let them, teachers and coaches, prepare their students for college and the rest of their life. Maybe we should have Truth determine what's best for the students. Let's not teach Turth, let's just hold hand and sing cumbia. Also, students should determine who receives awards, especially themselves, in the post season. Truth be known, Truth appears to be sufficiently lacking in reasoning. Why not just take the kid's word without investigation? Why should the school's administration use common sense instead of voodoo (yes, I used the V-word)? Why not set your own rules when convenient? Why not make up your own reality when it does not exist? Further more, let's have an alternate universe where everyone is a winner and nobody loses. Hey nimrod otherwise known as the truth, it's high school sports. Who cares if a team goes to the playoffs? Who cares if a player is all-league? Who cares about the records, other than Sinatra that is? High school baseball should be for the love of the game (pardon that sophmoric reference). If you are using wins and loses as a criteria for success, then you are indeed an idiot. To do so you would have to factor in recruiting (yes, another ugly word), strength of academic program, strength of booster club, desire to be an athletic power, before you can say if a school's program is inept. Finally, I almost feel like I have taken on the personna of the knavery Truth (get out your dictionary) who just happens to be the antithesis of his name.

well there is reason why la salle athletics is going downhill, you can blame the players if you want to, but honestly you can not, they have the talent and skill, but no coaching or support, harry is a nice guy, but does not know how to coach, when your up 7-0 till the 5th inning, and then during that inning you let 5 home runs get by off of the same pitcher to put the game to 8-7, go ahead blame it on the kid when reality any coach should have pulled him after he had pitched a solid 4 or even after the team hit back to back hrs off of him, but 5 hrs and finally he pulls the pitcher, unbelievable, the reliever/closer shut down the rest of the game to make it a final of 8-7 St. Paul, a coach should also know the outs and not rely on the scoreboard, should learn from losses, so you can win with the same technique that beat you. This season, last season, and the season before that were great disappointments, la salle has had many great opportunities to go to playoffs in this del rey league, but the coach failed to take advantage. Politics run baseball at la salle and not skill. This concept maybe the reason why lack of talent and success has gone down at la salle and the rest of san gabriel valley. La Salle, last year, (excluding Alhambra) was the best team in the area, beating Monrovia, Arcadia, and South Pas., they can make excuses like we didnt throw our ace, but you still lost and its not our fault you didnt throw him, but politics kept them from their respected glory callingg their wins trips, but when they played their league games they were not always outplayed, but they were always out coached. because this area has lost its talent in the coaching department and skill department and i am not sure if it is going to get better, but go ahead keep agaganian, he bullied la salle by lying and making up stories. God bless that family they are a great baseball family with great morals and it is sad that agaganian had to spread rumors about the family in order to make himself look good and to keep his job. hsschoolbaseballfan hopefully you are joking cause if agaganian is your kids role model then im scared for his future. I guess i will see him at the bar at outback inebriated almost every weekday night, where you are at. La salle would have been no where with that kid because all he was a great team player and only cared about winning and he proved himself almost every time, and i can't blame him they over-pitched him and the defense never supported him because when a coach only does batting practice everyday and does not do any drills with the defense, they are going to make mistakes. holding bishop amat 1-2 at la salle is unbelievable and will probably never happen again. He was a great player, and very few people heard his side of the story.
to the rhl, "which is so great", what was the score last year bishop amat against san marino 16-1. del rey league is where its at, when two teams from the del rey go to the d5 cif final game and one team winning it back to back. I have a good feeling that another del rey league team will win it this year. La Salle made its decision to keep agaganian, and honestly i hope they made the right decision. I hope for the best, that he makes good coaching decisions and finally goes to the playoffs where they have been absent for the past 3 years. They could not keep difori or gallagher due to inept athletic policies of la salle and look at football now, but good luck. and too all the teams around please step your game up so we can win some titles around here. Maranantha keep up the good work, you are the only team that is representing this area. Argue your points I have said mine, but from outcomes this is the truth and the truth sometimes hurts. Get angry, but do something about it so you can prove me wrong and attain the glory back to this area. Miguel post it or not, but something like this needs to be said.

I hate the music La Salle plays at the end of each win. Let's drop the "New York, New York" stuff and change it to "I Love L.A." :) Harry is a class act! Congrats.
Oh my gosh kittens!!!

Keeping Coach Agajanian at La Salle is a no brainer. To interupt the job he is doing would be criminal. I can also say that the statements Coach Agajanian made at the baseball banquet regarding this whole mishap indicated his true leadership. He is a great role model to my son and to the program. Congrats to La Salle for taking control back from that parent.

Im glad that LaSalle has supported their coach. They're going to be a stronger school and athletic program for it.

Coach Agajanian is a very goood coach and a very nice guy. I am very glad La Salle retained Coach Agajanian. Young student athletes will only benefit playing for Coach Agajanian. I was very impressed with their club when they played our club early this season.
