it is just an educated guess ... my reasoning being that Sm hasnt given up more than 14 in a game and that 14 was to monrovia who's offense is far more explosive than LC's. Any team can score when a team makes mistakes but Sm defense has had few that have led to big plays there secondary has a ton of senior leadership with yortsos at safety with seasoned corners as well .... LC has to run the ball to keep it close. I dont know much about LC Defense but i dont think they will have the same result as Monrovia did against SM offense we will score its a matter if LC can keep up

LC vs SM will be a close game. SM comes in with a heavy ground game and a decent passing attack as well as a solid D. They have the advantage but LC isn't some push over team like South Pas and blair and even LC teams of the past. LC has an explosive offense that is one SM mistake away from taking it to the house. LC will come to play we know its a rivalry game and what is at stake.

The LC @ SM is a huge rio hondo league game that will be a lot of fun to watch. It's LC's biggest game of the year there rivalry game so SM will get there best effort. LC in the end wont have any way of stopping SM offense that comes into the game completely healthy with a revamped offensive line that shuffled people around last week and could have put up close to 70 on south pas last week. If LC is too have any chance its in a shoot out which i dont see likely with SM defense. SM wins by three touchdowns is my educated guess right now

And im sure that the alhambra faithful are not condoning what you say either, they have a lot more class. Unfortunately its your own fans that have had the most criticism. Yes its true. You do gush and ball wash over TC and Coach White. "Breaking News:White...over 80 players at meeting...hires best staff ever...hired at TCUSD..." White is not Maddox. Maddox left West Covina with best wishes and good luck. Not so sure about White. Also, there is at least two to three factual errors in your stories. Prime example; Deshawn Ramirez is a sophomore, not a freshman and we all know it but you. The TC/M-town score at 1/2 time was what? Was it 21-17 or 21-14? Then there is a little heat on the TC coaching staff and Prado cries on the blog. Zeke, we all know that coaches put in tons of hours and get little credit/respect. It is the nature of the beast except now it is online and not at the barbershop or local tavern. So Miguelito and Zearino, as Bill Murray said in Stripes, "thats the fact, Jack!"

San Marino played bare bones fundamental football and were one play away from overtime and a legitimate shot at beating the Division's #1 team.
Though Monrovia looked flat and lethargic after the bye, the Titans gave little respect and did well against a stubborn, non-creative M-town running game...and played a strong 4th quarter defensively.
At 6-1 with everyone healthy SM has got to be called the RHL runner up at this stage of the season.

Any one who saw both games knows TC played a different M-town. The Rams had their chances as well, and were smothered by a couple crucial mistakes/turnovers and at least two game changing officiating errors. (the film tells no lie on Torres incomplete pass...which was picked up and run in as a TD by M-town)Either way, anytime you have 3 INTs, those are demoralizing, drive ending plays and fresh opportunities for the opponent. Hopefully the Rams learned vital lessons.

Rocky Moore is going to need help in the way of defensive stops and the LC special teams must create some havoc and not waver in their own assignments. Yoder must do his best prep job for the Spartans. The Titans will be out of their funk following the M-town loss and looking to hit early and hard. LC better be ready for a whole lotta Hung.
Like I said 8 weeks ago, San Marino is not soft and definitely not gutless on the line of scrimmage this year. Converse really looked good against M-town. SM's coaching staff has done everything in getting the most out of their players. This is a good game of the week - wish it was on a Thursday.

I like the lighting on the Stang home field, it allows a clean, clear view of play. It is a nice set up. Heard the players like the surface as well, but maybe Stang Fan has heard different from Stang players. Last time I was there parking was $, but street parking was avail, fairly close if you got there early.

PCC would have been fine...closer to the homeland, but it beats driving to Brawley.

Every game since, they are getting better. They are a "cute" team that has heart. Undefeated in League please look for this team to go deeper into CIF playoffs than most of the other 9 teams listed above them.

SM LC game of the week. Why? If SM wins they clinch playoffs and eliminate LC (with a SM win over Blair and a LC lost against M-Town, both very likely). However if LC wins, things get interesting as SM must be TC to force a three way tie for second. Easy game of week

SG will be hosting the Moors on their brand new
field and taking part in their homecoming.
The stage is set for Friday night and i'll say

I still believe that Moor's size and speed
at the skill position will be too much for
the Matador's defense. On the other hand, Valdez
has gotten his troop's going on all cylinders after
putting up 49 pts on BG. The fact of the matter is,
the Moor's defense is jelling just at the right time
and their speed will be the factor in the end.
No matter what it will be a great rivalry game
