Isaac Valdez inks deal, signs with Iowa Wesleyan

San Gabriel's Isaac Valdez signed a letter of intent this afternoon to play football at Iowa Wesleyan (NAIA) next fall. Valdez was a fixture in Matadors coach Keith Jones' lineup, first as a freshman punter on varsity and then as a star quarterback. He exploded onto the scene his sophomore year, when he passed for 2,345 yards and nine touchdowns and rushed for 457 yards. Jones knew he had something special in Valdez, and that was accentuated the following season when Valdez threw for 2,754 yards and 16 touchdowns. He again proved to be a double threat while rushing for 615 yards and six touchdowns, well on his way to a unanimous quarterback pick for the Star-News first-team All-Area team last year. He threw for 2,845 yards and 19 touchdowns this past season and rushed for 671 yards and 10 touchdowns. Valdez had several schools on his tail who offered, including Trinity International in Illinois; Northwestern College in Ohio; and Hastings College in Nebraska. In the end, it was Iowa Wesleyan that peaked Valdez's interest after quarterbacks coach Peter Jennings said he could come in as a true freshman and compete right away for a starting spot.

I like this data shown and it has given me some sort of commitment to succeed for some reason, so keep up the good work.
I am not in reality certain if best tactics cover emerged about things like that, but I am certain that your big job is visibly recognized. I was questioning if you offer several registration near your RSS feeds as I would be very concerned.
Merry Christmas! what's happening...
I enjoy your style of writing. Will you consider writing for my blog as a guest writer?
Keep focusing on your blog. I love how we can all express our feelings. This is an extremely nice blog here :)
I love an e-cigarette. It is absolutely useful
Amazing! I've been looking for this information for an hour and then it's right here
I love the way you write and also the theme on your blog. Did you code this yourself or was it done by a professional? I'm very very impressed.
I've been saying that for a while
I never thought I would agree with this opinion, but I’m starting to see things differently.
Who in their right mind would have considered developing a mosque at ground zero had to be wise? I'm not much of a great fan of either Glen Beck or Sarah Palin yet , when equated with Obama and his supremely stupid government, these are geniuses, come on The us, there's a certain amount of unusual stuff happening here. Louise.
Definitely a nice write-up buddie in this certain niche. I started wondering if I could use this write up on my personal webpage, For certain i will link it back aimed at your website though. If this is a problem you need to inform me and For certain i will tear it down in a timely manner. Allison

Isaac We are all very proud of u!! I know 1st hand how hard u have worked to get to this point in your life, when I met you back in the 7th grade.I could see the drive that you had to get better!! and all the hard word that you have done through the yrs..from working out @ the park w/Cedric to football camps & LOC workouts!! You deserve it!! Most imprtantly also working hard in the classroom!! You are a true STUDENT-Athlete!! We are going to miss you!! Good Luck!! We know that you will do great things with the great focus that you have!! God Bless!!
wow i finally made it to the big time!!!! i have ppl pretending to me be to bash a great accomplishment that Isaac has acheived! Let me just say that I'm proud that isaac has gotten NUMEROUS offers for his body of work at SGHS. Coach O does a great job getting the kids at SG places for him to play. I was however secretly hoping that he was gunna come to la verne but i definetly felt as though with what the NAIA schools can offer to help pay for you education he should've went there..
common now we can all be THE CEDRIC HO! but hey good try!!! if me and isaac weren't friends you might have got him thinking it was me!
I guarantee you he will be back in Cali after one year!!! Trust me, its a big mistake to go out of state just to play NAIA ball.
New York,
That is the best advice I have ever seen given on this blog. I am going to print out what you wrote and show it to my kids. You definately get it.
Congratulations. Keep working hard. Don't take the competition lightly just because the games are not on TV. These NAIA teams are filled with a bunch of all-league, all-county and all-state guys as well. The difference usually just comes down to height. Regardless, stay focused. Fight off the home-sickness quickly and embrace your new football family. Learn the ropes from some respected seniors. Find out how to get the good job and/or admitted to graduate school now so that you can work toward it from the beginning. Getting into college is just one step toward the overall goal. Keep making your family proud.
Good Luck!
So happy for Isaac he is a great kid and it was fun coaching him as a young player. I wish him all the luck in the world. He set high goals and he has meet them all. He had great coaches and coach O is a great coach and works hard to find places for all his kids to play at the next level. Jones has put together a great coaching staf and look for great think to happen for this kid.
