MLB.com reports that Dylan Covey donned the Milwaukee Brewers' uniform for the first time on Monday. The right-hander, along with his parents and his two older brothers, made a 45-minute drive south from Pasadena, Calif., to visit with Milwaukee players before their Interleague series against the Angels. MLB.com goes on to report that the first player to greet Covey was none other than future Hall of Fame pitcher Trevor Hoffman. I interviewed Trevor's brother, Glenn, a while back in San Diego and he's a real class act. We must have sat in the clubhouse for an hour having lunch, and this was after I was done interviewing him and Bud Black. I'm sure Trevor comes from the same fabric. What a thrill to get your first "welcome aboard" handshake come from a legend. If you missed it, there's also video of Covey's selection on Draft Day and analysis from MLB Network studio analysts, which includes another legend, Peter Gammons. By the way, BrewCrewBall.com has a great Q&A with Dylan. Pretty good stuff, and a really funny picture of a hybrid Dylan/Hulk photo in the comments section.

Tremendous article, numerous good quality information. I am about to show my pals and ask them what they think.

I really like the colors here on your blog. did you design this yourself or did you outsource it to a professional?

Thanks for sharing such useful information.

I dont know who you think you are, but youre just blowing smoke out your ears. Nothing youre saying makes sense and its all a bunch of immature ranting. If you want people to get behind your blog, you should at the very least learn a little something about what youre talking about!

There are more and more girls with bigger sized shapely legs in need of stylish footwear and Wide width boots are increasing in popularity and in some styles there are more wide width boots available as compared to narrow or regular fitting dimensions.

Keep focusing on your blog. I love how we can all express our feelings. This is an extremely nice blog here :)

I love the way you write and also the theme on your blog. Did you code this yourself or was it done by a professional? I'm very very impressed.

Love the blog here. Nice colors. I am definitely staying tuned to this one. Hope to see more.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass' favor.

From prospects central recap at:

Dylan Covey went to the Brewers with the 14th overall pick. Nice value for Milwaukee who gets one of the best prep school arms in the class. His fastball velocity is questionable but scouts feel more can be coaxed out of his mechanics. He has an excellent curve and a developing change. The right-hander doesn’t look like a high-impact starter but if his velocity catches up to his size he may spend some years in the Brewers rotation.
