Baseball: Pasadena’s season ends when Muir forfeits.

Pasadena coach Mike Parisi wasn’t too happy when Muir’s baseball team forfeited the final game of league, scheduled for Friday. Parisi said he wanted his 11 seniors to experience their final league game at home before the playoffs begin. It’s likely that the Bulldogs (17-9-1, 9-5, third place) will hit the road when the playoff pairings are released.

How do you not come out and compete?? Wonder what the real reason was behind Muir’s forfeit.

Ineligible players, simple as that no players on JV capable. Has nothing to do with the coaching, kids are not able to understand the importance of being a student first and an athlete second. This year-round football is a killer of all their other sports.

sounds like the AD needs to show up and air out the program putting unfair pressure on the best athletes…otherwise the Stangs ball players won’t have a team next year and tha’s a dadgum shame!

There will be a team. A lot of help on the way. New AD this year. There needs to be more emphasis put on the overall health of the sports (PROGRAMS)!!!!! I think they can do it. The coaches are surely working overtime trying to get the kids to understand what it takes to move to the next level through academics and athletics. Alumni need to be more of an influence, they have lost their pride.
