What’s with the constant flow of Arcadia and Pasadena Poly reference pictures? Are those the only 2 teams you saw in person? Where have you been? Do you still have a desk at the “Star”? Are they making you work from home to save money? and you live in another state. Last years baseball coverage was excellent. This years….not so much. You had an off year.

go locals…looking for deep runs this year

two best teams in the coverage area has something to do with it… “topical”

You must be talking in terms of record, because if not, Pasadena Poly is far from one of the best teams in the area. The funniest part about this. St. Francis goes just above .500 this year as far as record, but would beat all of the teams in the Star News Top Ten.

They have 2 seniors on the team going to Division 1 schools to play, they have 2 juniors on the team who WILL go to Division 1 schools to play, they’ve beaten state ranked Chaminade, Camarillo(LA Times #19), and Alemany (LA Times #22), finished tied for 3rd in the toughest league in LA County (a league from which Eric Sondheimer of the LA Times predicts a Div. 2 champion), swept Loyola for the first time in who knows how many years…all that with not having their own field and being forced to practice on a turf football field, having to share with a PCC program that should have been cancelled for baseball ignorance and lack of everyone interest, and Maranatha who decided to move into Pasadena and can’t find room on the college campus they purchased to build a baseball field.

Miguel….you must have something against all boys schools. That’s the only explanation.

    Anonymous,

Quit your whining and sniveling! You should be concerned with St Francis winning their “wild card” game first and foremost.

if it’s all the same to you, I’ll look no further than common opponents (san dimas/nogales) SF 0-2, while Arcadia is 4-0. Message is the same none the less. Good luck.

Maranatha 5 Arrowhead Christian 0. CIF Time, our time to play ball. Go Minutemen!!

If SF has all this talent that you speak of why are they only .500? Regardless of how tough their competition is, if you have that much talent you will find ways to win games.

Congrats MHS. Great win. When they focus, they are a good team, and CIFs are the time MHS always shines–reason they play a tough schedule. 12 and 2 in CIF the past 4 years. Our time to shine. Go Minutemen.
