I’ll be in my usual place, sidelines for the Vikings. See you there Miguel.

and remind me why Blair is in the Rio Hondo league. they suited up only 16 kids “due to prior commitments”. what prior commitments? its football season. Blair needs to be moved out of the RHL. put them in with Marshall, and duarte.

That’s the way to get your first W’s guys.

    BFF,
I agree. Take the two outliers (Monrovia and Blair) out of the RHL. Speaking of that…how do you think Blair’s 4 frosh O-linemen will perform against McCarthy? In all honesty, that could be dangerous.

Interestingly, though, Blair won the RHL when McCarthy was in 8th grade…not that long ago!

Yes it’s football season, but the games are also usually on a Friday night, not a Thursday. Some of the kids have other commitments related to school. Remember they’re student athletes, not athlete students.

Great job guys. Nice way to start the year!

New York: 2008 was a fluke for blair. all those kids left the program after that season, program collapsed and has not recovered. its not just football, it baseball and other sports too. last season, Blair did not have a varsity baseball team, JV only, and they were awful. Blair just cant field competitive teams in the RHL, and they should be moved out. Oh, ok, basketball. big deal, one sport. lets get a legit 6th team in the RHL for gods sake. Monrovia does not bother me in RHL, they set the gold standard. and dont give me that Thursday night stuff, how long has the game been on the schedule for thursday? SP plays on thursday, once per season every season, and somehow they manage to get their entire team out to the game.
