Pasadena’s all-everything quarterback Brandon Cox, who has committed to Arizona, will miss at least three weeks with a stress fracture in the left foot. Pasadena coach Randy Horton confirmed the injury this morning, saying it occurred early during Friday’s loss to Cathedral.
Horton said either receiver/cornerback Wardell Barry or running back Caleb Devine will fill in until Cox returns.
“Yeah, (it’s a loss),” Horton said. “Other guys have to step up and rally around the (new quarterback). We just have to play much better.”
