Temple City stuns No. 1 Alhambra, 3-2 … Rams rally for 3 runs in 6th inning to break up no-hitter … TC vs. Monrovia in Thursday’s final …

Temple City (3-0) advanced to the championship game of the Elks Tournament with a stunning 3-2 win over Star-News No. 1 Alhambra (2-1) on Tuesday.

The Rams rallied for three runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to break up a no-hitter. Temple City will face Monrovia in Thursday’s Elks TOurnament championship game.

Aram’s take: Wowza. Not used to seeing Alhambra blow games like that. Huge win for the Rams, who were throttled by graduation but have plenty of talent in the Bacon Ball system.

The RHL is the toughest baseball league in the West SGV. I would go on limb and say that it is one of the toughest leagues in the entire SGV. If you are going to win the RHL, you are going to have to beat the Monrovia and Temple City Twice. I am not sure if any team in the SGV can do that. Looks like tomorrow will be for the #1 and#2 spots in the Star news Rankings. I Say..

    1. Monrovia
    2. Temple City
    3. Alhambra

LC will finish in the top two in the RHL

Well they are not beating the Cats…and the fact TC beat Alhambra, it looks like they reloaded. I think LC, SP and SM will battle for 3rd place. M-town has really been the best or 2nd in the RHL since 1997 with a CIF title. Just saying…
