Every area league will be in action as we arrive at week 6. The two matchups that rise above the rest are Gabrielino visiting Arroyo in the Mission Valley League and South Pasadena hosting San Marino in a rivalry game that goes back a few decades. The Arroyo-Gabrielino matchup feeatures two 4-1 teams, but the host Knights appear to be a little bit too much for the Eagles. South Pasadena will look to slowdown the Titans’ high-powered offense. I’m not sure they can. Also, St. Francis, the area’s only unbeaten team looks to stretch its record to 6-0 when it visits St. Paul, which should offer much of a challenge.
